7/19/2024... It is easy to come in on CT190 but pay attention. Shipping is in the back corner and highly, highly, highly recommend backing to the dock, instead of trying to turn around. When looking at the map, it's the tiny area at the end of the long road, like going to town but on property. Besides that, great place and heed the warnings. If you do come from I-84, keep going till you get to town and use the round a bout to get turned around.

This is the craziest place I have experienced in my entire career. If you have a full size sleeper cab, I strongly recommend the following: exit 73 from I-84 traveling east. The exit ramp is Bush Meadow Brook street. Left on highway 190 (Buckley Hwy) to downtown Stafford Springs. Left from East Main to Main St. Be very careful of the telephone pole on the SE corner of Main and E Main St. It is way to close to the intersection for a 53 foot trailer. The circle around is tight but doable. South on highway 32 (River Rd). Left into the facility. If you came north from I-84 on River Rd (Hwy 32) you will never make the turn. Pull up to the obvious T in front of the facility. I recommend a big right hand turn until the tractor and trailer are straight. Go backwards to the northern end of the facility. The yellow striped lines on Google maps is the actual dock. If you made a big left then you get to turn around in that teeny, tiny alley on your right. In addition, the lazy 3M employee have parked their personal vehicles in this alley making the maneuver even more difficult. The dock area is way too small and you will need many attempts to line up the trailer to the door. One final note, you can make a big left turn on to River Rd (Hwy 32) when you are departing. This place is quick and good ppl, however you need to look at your route before coming here. Depends where you coming from plays a big role. When you pull in, JUST STOP AND ASK WHICH IS THE BEST WAY TO BACK IN. The guy who loaded me was nice and moved the box truck so I could Uturn it at dock, otherwise I would have to back up all the way to the gate and back the trailer all the way from the get go. PARK, STOP, ASK FOR DIRECTIONS
