What a great experience, and what quality meat I picked up today for our early Thanksgiving dinner! The meat was so tender and just melted in your mouth. I asked advice for how large of a prime rib to purchase and her insight was perfect. Thank you for helping make it a great Thanksgiving dinner!

Picked up a 11.5 pound Prime Brisket. The price was higher than Costco but the quality was superb in my opinion.

Years ago, my family used to order smoked Turkeys from Roseville Meat Company and they were delicious. So, I ordered a smoked turkey for this Thanksgiving and picked it up the day before Thanks giving day along with instructions on how to warm it up before eating.
I placed it in a cooler with some ice to keep it fresh and on the morning of Thanksgiving I warmed up the turkey as instructed; wrap it in foil over a pan of water to prevent drying out and warm at 325F for 15mins per pound. I had a 20 pound turkey but weighed a little less after smoking so, maybe 18 pounds. I carefully followed the instructions but thought decided to warm up for 2 hours instead of 4.5 hours. Well, after just 2 hours the turkey was very dry! I called and spoke with the manager about these instructions. He was nice enough but said nothing about the instructions being off or wrong.
My advice is don't bother ordering smoked Turkey from here, the flavor was disappointing. Better yet, smoke it yourself in your own BBQ or in a Trager Smoker, you'll have a much better flavor and moist Turkey.

Store was clean. Smelled like meat and not like bleach, if you know, you know. Prices are good and the staff is above and beyond nice and helpful. supporting local businesses and families. Yes please.

This place has the freshest meat you might ever taste. Every time I go they have the best cuts and the biggest variety. I definitely recommend, at the very least, trying the place out. You won't regret it!

I went to Roseville Meat Company was greeted when I came in and asked if I needed anything and made sure I found what I was looking for which was ground pork! Always easy to support local family business when they have great employees/owners! Will be back in August for my best friends ribeyes!

Response: we NEVER requested 20% pork, we requested the flavors of brats only! Everything else was made based off what you normally do. We brought our product to you because of your reputation, which is why we are so disappointed. We have 40+ years of experience cooking duck meat and 30+ years of cooking ducks brats specificity in our family that we had made by other butchers. We have NEVER had an issue, ever. If you are stating that the meat was bad, I sure hope you would not process meat knowing it was bad!

None of this is slander, nothing we are saying is false it is simply facts. The hunting community needs to know so that they are not also disappointed. We will be giving them to anyone who wants to try it, they will gladly review it as well since you are standing behind your products.

Want to start off by saying “To be clear this is not just about a refund, it is about the fact that all of all of our duck meat was ruined and a disgusting tasting product was made!!!!

We contacted Roseville Meat Company yesterday to let them know that the duck brats that we had made through them did not taste good at all, and honestly tasted like really bad liver. The owner asked me to bring the product back in because he needed to check it and taste it first. She brought them into today and the owner came out yelling/angry at her and said he was not giving us a refund because we posted about them on Facebook. He proceeded to tell me that they don’t even like to do duck meat….. which I proceeded to ask “why would you guys offer to make the product if you do t like to do it”? He stated he does whatever the customer asks for, so again repeated, “but why would you offer to make a product that you don’t even like to do because you know you’re not good at it!!!!!!!!” He then said I can fix it. When I asked him how he would do that, he said unfreezing it all, mix other stuff in and re run it through the processor and refreezing it all. I refused. First that seems NOT safe by food handling safety standards, second there is no way we are trusting you to make it right after the first mess up!!!

7/20 Alan called Roseville meat company, guy answered phone and said he didn’t know when the owner or hector would be in, he may be in Monday.

7/21 My husband posted on his personal Facebook page and a hunting group he is part of about the brats.

7/22 Jessica called Roseville meat company to let them know and discuss a refund.

7/23 Brought the meat to them.

My wife and i were not happy with our local supermarket butchers so we tried Roseville Meat Company.
Was after a 6.5lb rump roast and all the ones on the floor were small - when I asked the guy said they only had one full rump left and it was needed for an order.
As my wife and I were walking out the door dispirited to look for another butcher he called us back... he worked out what the other guy needed off it for the order, and cut our peice out of it too.
It was the most beautiful peice of rump I've ever seen, and after 16hrs of slow roasting it was the most tender melt in your mouth beef I've had in my life.

Great service, great quality, great selection. Prices are a little higher than supermarket prices, but a clear better quality difference too.
Very very happy.
