Husband is working nearby so we rented a spot during the week. We've been here for a couple of months and we're happy. The place is quiet and everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. The place is always kept clean. We have our dogs and they have a big area (rv storage really) where the dogs run around since it's all fenced. It's really cool that they have horses and animals on the property since it is a fairground. It makes it feel like you're staying on a farm. I really enjoy it. The mountains full of snow are gorgeous. Close to lots of food options too. It's not a place to stay and camp but it's perfect for what we need it for.

We needed a 1 night spot on our trip down to Southern Califotnia and Bishop was the 1/2 way point. Fot $38 for the night and full hookups we decided to give it a go.
The sites are all back in and very small. We had site 34 and our 48 foot motor home just fit. The sites are also very narrow and there are no tables or fire rings.
The restrooms were vere nice and clean and our heated which is nice during cooler months.
You are right at the fairgrounds and can wander around anf see the placr. You are also in walking distance to downtown.
The park is 1 way in and back the way you came so if you are towing a vehicle make sure you disconnect before going in.
There is no office so you check in with the camp host who was very pleasant and helpful.

We have a 34 foot Class A motorhome and we stayed at the Tri County Fairgrounds RV park from Feb 1 to May 15, 2021. We are a family of five (2 adults and 3 kids). We very much enjoyed our time here. The bathrooms and showers were always clean and the water from the shower was warm/hot, which was awesome. Lots of long term people mixed with short term but everybody was always nice to us. It’s close to town so you can walk or bike to most places. Lots of great walking around the fairgrounds. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was no laundry. But, there are several places in town so that’s fine. Overall, it’s a nice, no frills place. Good WiFi, friendly people, clean bathrooms, warm showers, and full 50 amp hookups. Would definitely recommend.

Good RV Park during winter. Probably full later in year. There is overflow area with electric and water. The fairgrounds are within walking distance from the Central Business District

Made reservation 3 months in advance with full hookups but the Rv Park Manager 2days prior to our arrival moved us to site without full hookups. When asked about the move she very rudely stated it’s not first come first serve. There were several sites not used the days we were staying over the weekend. She also said they were saving the full hookup sites only for vendors regardless of reservations. We definitely won’t be using this place again. Management was terrible!
