After three weeks of excuses and messes I made the decision to cut all ties with Little Guy Construction. We hired them to pour a new sidewalk leading up to our new pool. He decided to use bags of concrete and a concrete mixer instead of bringing in a truck. It was an absolute mess. They would work for an hour or so a day if they showed up. The day that they poured the owner had a tantrum and crumpled up the whole thing and left it in a bigger mess than it should have been. This was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. After we notified him that he was done and that we would be finding another concrete company he offered to get a concrete truck. This was too late. Labor Day weekend we were left with a horrible mess.

First wirhin first year started cracking. Worst then that they finished was afraid we'd sue so he said I came on to his employe. The stamp job was terrible. Never gave us a paper quote. Not professional.

This guy really stuck It to me. He was very punctual, and showed up right at 7:30 AM after giving a 7:30-10:30 arrival time. I was ecstatic to have somebody who was punctual… and then the falling out. He pulled up with about 300 bags of quick-Crete to do the exterior of my in-ground oool. There were at least 4 different brands of Crete that I saw. Some open, some not. I’m led to believe they were stolen. They continued with that, finished by noon and left (whilst charging me the 8 hour minimum) here I am today, June 14th… and now, it’s all cracking, It has created a fault in the pool itself. I need to repair everything and he’s not willing to negotiate. pathetic.

I recently purchased a home here in Elgin and I was looking to get quotes on a stoop and a patio that I needed re-done and when I called to get an estimate what I got was to be belittled and mocked for my perfectly normal questions for somebody who isn't familiar with this line of work ? I work for a software company and have been in the tech world my whole life and it was my father's profession before me ? So why mock and talk down to somebody just because they don't know or have ever been exposed to this line of work ? I would think twice before even calling .... doesn't seem like the person to try to fix any mistake he might make ... and God forbid you call to bring up any complaint because you're probably in for the same treatment.. all in all a terrible experience ..

I would recommend getting work done from this company I worked for them in the past and the prices are affordable I would say probably the cheapest when it comes to stamped patio work although it is Affordable it doesn't take away from the end product all in all I believe this place is a good company to get your concrete work done at
