We did have a couple of small issues which they took care of right away and were more than happy to make things perfect. That is what professionals do! We can’t wait to get them back for kitchen and bath!

We just moved to Carmel valley 5 years ago. We decided it’s time for a remodel, and decided to start interviewing contractors for the kitchen makeover. We took 4 estimates but Mike was very patient and not pushy at all, which is what made me feel very comfortable signing with him. He came with us to find materials and look at samples of cabinets and tile/ countertops. After all the research was done and we knew exactly what we wanted we signed and proceeded with the project. The timeline given was 6 weeks start to finish and it was done at 5.5 weeks! We were so thrilled with the skills of the workers, what a high quality job they did! We were also extremely pleased with the level of customer service from Mike. I would highly highly recommend Noma for all your remodeling needs, I will definitely use them for the remainder of my house in the future!

We searched for a while and when we met Mike from Noma we knew this was our guy to tackle this project. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. I worked with many contractors in the past, some were good, some bad and Noma Design & Build is definitely one of the best I worked with. They built a patio at my home, not a big project but little complicated. There were some issues but they resolved everything and finished on promised time and within my budget. We purchased a 65-year-old house that hadn’t had any updates, so it needed a substantial amount of work. We worked with Mike and I couldn’t be more pleased with that decision. Review of the project manager/coordinator - We have nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews for Mordechay "Matt" Abotbol!!! We reached out to about 10 different companies before choosing Noma Design and Build for our project. Noma's project leader Matt was a perfect match for us - practical, informative, enthusiastic, energetic and patient. Not pushy, not sales-y, worked diligently to meet our dream-kitchen expectations and keep our costs within our budget.

During the entire renovation process, there were a lot of instances when we went back to Matt telling him that we don't like a certain thing, or we would like to change something from the initial agreed upon design. Matt was nothing but supportive and understanding. Instead of saying, 'sorry, this can not be done, or it is too late to change things now', he always had a solution for our requests. He helped provide relevant design options based on our need, introducing us to multiple vendors each, for flooring, cabinets, counter tops and back-splash. But this was just the tip of the iceberg. Our remodeling project was midway when COVID19 hit and shut down everything. Matt (god bless him) worked tirelessly to keep the project on track! He did all the leg-work finding the vendors still available, moving timelines up in anticipation of further closures all around, making sure his team members were staggered to manage safety yet well-prepared to carry out the tasks efficiently. We were just a day or two over the scheduled timeline by the end of it all!

Review for the crew - Thoroughly professional, meticulous, great listeners and collaborators and very conscientious! We were staying in the house for almost the entirety of the project. From the get-go demolition step (removing tiles and smoothening the floor), they were careful keeping different rooms clean, cordoning off the construction areas so that our energetic 4-year-old could be as safe as possible. When COVID19 hit, they took great precautions to keep a distance from the family (they were doing this even before CDC guidelines were available). As usual they continued to make sure that dust was minimal, the access points for the family and the crew were separate while making timely touchpoints to discuss any decisions/troubleshoot issues etc. Their eye for safety was highly appreciated given the kiddo and my pregnant wife in the house. Their collaborative approach helped ensure there were no surprises and everything was as per our expectations.
