Very Slow processing. It took about 2 weeks, but it did not complete yet. Never answered my phone for 3 days. They don't really reply my email. At least, I need to know why it is pending. Although every review of our company has been done a week ago, they did not created my merchant account.... I am looking for another company. Most of them has 48 hours processing, but 2 weeks and still pending? Worst...

I cancelled my account with PaySafe as I closed my business. I sent back my cc machine and 2 weeks later was charged for the machine. I called the company and they verified they received it so I don't understand why they charged me but then why they haven't refunded me. I am guessing they hope either you don't notice the charge or you don't have proof of return. Very bad business

This company is a big SCAM. Please save yourself and your employees, and DONOT sign any agreement with this company. They would hold your money, they wouldn't honor the rates they promised, plus they won't you allow any equipment to return even though they don't allow you to use the account because they close it for no reason without any notice. If you're a hardworking small business owner, just save yourself from this horrible company, and look for other options. Because from A to Z, they are a big FRAUD. We're taking all necessary legal actions against them with our lawyer.

A contract sales rep signed us up without our knowledge they sent us a terminal we sent it back. they charged nearly $8000 to our business bank account over a 5 year period while providing no services whatsoever. We discovered the charges only when we changed banks. We have sent them registered letter, they don't respond. Law suit is next.

Absolutely the worst experience in my 30 years in business. I had to call every month to dispute erroneous fee's. I was treated very rudely and even worse by management. When I finally "tried" to close my merchant account it was another two month debacle. I was charged more fee's and they actually refused to pay me on several transactions. Their business policies are criminal. I actually rate this company 0 stars, they are that bad.

The negative reviews are correct. These people are crooks. Just research stories about their CEOs for yourselves, as well as the lawsuits. Their fraud department is incompetent, too. Long story short, I got scammed from another party, but got my money back. However, They scammed me using this company to process the money. I just recently started receiving calls from a collection agency saying that I owe Ipayment $42; I didn't know who they were at the time. Also, my credit score will already be impacted because of the collection agency about a charge from a company I wasn't ever aware of. Ipayment should've just called me about this. In addition, Ipayment's customer support department informed me that I've had no previous charges with Ipayment before. So, I called Ipayment to see who they are, explain my case, and find out if I can waive the payment. I was even willing to provide evidence. I was sent to the collections department. I explained my story, and the man didn't know what to do. He said the, 'He never had a case like this before.' However, he did verify me by my phone number, name, and address; he gave me my account number afterwards. I was then transferred to the risk management department after being on hold. From the start, the woman started arguing with me; saying, "If you didn't open up the account, how did you know your account number?" As I tried to (loudly and honestly angrily, sorry I think the stress from fighting my scam was coming back during that moment) explain my case, she kept laughing at me. She kept insisting that I "explain myself", but she was using every information I provided against me. For example, a piece of the conversation went something like this, practically speaking:

"rep: So this scam you got in was identity theft, right?
Me: no, they lied to, and tricked me.
Rep: Oh, so they somehow obtained your SSN, made an account with us, and it wasn't identity theft? Yeah, heh, I'm not buying that.
Me: *screaming a bunch of curse words"

didn't believe my case, what kind of fraud department does that? She wouldn't file the report, and she wouldn't tell me her name, and she said she had no supervisor. I had to provide my account number to verify that it was indeed, me, so I was in a losing battle. Funny how this is only $42. People working for this company should be ashamed of themselves.

I honestly don't know how someone could have given iPayment 1 star...I have used over 5 merch service providers and iPayment has ran 100% smooth for 3 months. They also are a few bucks cheaper which I can't complain about.
