All this is for "tourist" to visit and see Whale bones . That's all.
This area belonged to The Cape Smythe Whaling n Trading Company. Whalers Station n home for Mr. Charles Brower back in the day. They are unoccupied now perhaps.

The famous “top of the world” attraction of Barrow, also known as Utqiagvik, is an impressive monument highlighting the sheer size of a bowhead whale. Scattered among the whale bone arch is a few weathered whale boats and a bowhead skull. A must see if ever in Barrow
