Once they had my tapes it felt like they held them hostage to up sell me, and were very disingenuous about the cost. They then told me it was gonna be like double to clean one of the beta tapes with "mold". I took that tape else where and it was no problem digitizing. Wouldn't recommend.

Anyone thinking about using this company to digitize their memories should know: 1) This "location" does not actually provide any services; it merely acts as a "drop-off point." 2) They will not give you any indication of what their services will cost until you surrender your items. They call back several days later. If you miss their call, plan on waiting on hold when you call back. I gave up on the first try after 7 minutes. 3) When I finally made contact with their "consultant," I was told the conversion would take a month. 4) I was supposed to drive back to the location to retrieve my items; they don't mail it to your home. 5) I can't be sure, but I would bet that the person I was talking to was based in a foreign country.

my experience with everpresent was everything i could've asked for 🙂 i had some digital hi8 tapes from a few years ago that were corrupted and i had never been able to watch them back. after a lot of unsuccessful trial and error on my end, i sent them in to be digitized and the team at everpresent was able to restore both the audio and video. i'm so grateful to have these memories back and i'd love to work with them in the future!

I was able to have my old family photos and videos uploaded digitally and everything turned out great. They were even able to ship the box of photos and videos back to me in VA instead of dropping back off at the drop off spot. The process took several months but once done everything looked great.

I had such a wonderful experience with this company. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! The entire process was super simple and handled with care. I never do Google reviews, but EverPresent deserves one. Their process of converting a VHS I believed was beyond repair, to digital and DVD format was much appreciated. The price was fair, the work was great, the turnaround was pretty remarkable, and I was kept up to date on things every step of the way. I plan to continue to use them for all my VHS conversion needs!

My father took many precious 16mm films of our family when we were young and we longed to view them again and share them with our children. Thanks to EverPresent, we were able to relive those wonderful memories. They took 1200 ft. of film and copied them onto a thumbdrive. The quality is excellent, the service very professional, and we plan to bring another batch to EverPresent this month. We couldn't be happier!

I had 5 reels of 8 mm film converted to digital as a gift to my 88 year old dad. I also shared it with the rest of my family, including a cousin that is battling cancer right now. Needless to say, the memories preserved had an amazing impact for us. Everpresent did a great job - staff were very helpful and handled my materials so very carefully. I felt a lot better personally dropping it off rather than boxing it up and sending it to some unknown location like so many other services do. The follow up and communication was great - turn around time was excellent and the price was right! I highly recommend them and plan to get more reels done in the near future!
