Macroscopic Solution's Macropod Pro digital setup produces the most accurate, precise and overall beautiful images of beetles I've ever been able to take. The quality is so remarkable that I am retaking images of beetles that were done before for a West Indian flea beetle genera project as images that are taken on other imaging systems are not adequate any longer. The Macropod system has been an absolute game-changer for us, and it has totally changed the way we are approaching macrophotography of minute parasitic wasps, some smaller than 1 mm. in length. Mark Smith has been extremely patient and helpful as we set up the system and learned to use it. The system is very well thought out, and if you follow his instructions, you are almost guaranteed to get great images right from the start. From my perspective, anyone setting up an imaging system for insect specimens should have a look at one of the Macropod systems before making an investment. They are not cheap, but the results are worth every penny.

Hi Mark....firstly I would like to thank you for your excellent service. I live in South Africa and you went out of your way to ensure I get my diffuser and your response time on my emails was out of this world. As far as the Turtle Dove diffuser goes.....best I could have bought. Light is superb on the subject matter, gone is the blowout of insect eyes, and unacceptable highlights on glossy wings is something of the past. Easy to use, well made and absolutely no hassle to put on or take off. No more elastic bands, paperclips, pieces of whatever gets used to make a makeshift diffuser. Such an easy diffuser to use with fantastic results. Thanks for a great product which I will recommend highly to anyone who want to have great macro photos using a flash
