I don’t personally go to this church! However, I am a homeowner in East Haven. I simply LOVE the outside gathering that occur here and the people that I have met at the flower sales and flea markets! It’s one of the best times of the day and I always find gems here! I’ve brought several people here who also enjoy themselves! I appreciate what they bring to the neighborhood and I appreciate the time spent here each year and at each gathering! I pray our Father blesses this place and continues to bless the people that come together!

Leaving a one star review because of a video seen in the internet based off the actions of a single individual is petty and Karen behavior. Shame on all of you.

Trying to understand how you can teach God's word yet not follow it. The bible is pretty clear on women and teaching but that they are not to be priests/pastors. That being said, you can't teach if you don't follow. Too many churches twisting scriptures to their goals and not God's.

Saw the video!

I enjoy the irony of leaving a poor review for a Church, considering one of the most critical components of Christianity is forgiveness.

However reading the statements made by the church during and after the incident, it really paints a picture bigger than just the incident.

It's scary, but the fact of the matter is they hired this woman, supported her, and did not do much to really condemn her actions after.

Sure, it was 6 years ago... But the internet last forever my friends! Enjoy the perpetual hate, something a Church should be very familiar with.

People want to blame the Left for the sickly condition of the Faith in this country... The cancer comes from within folks...

As a wanted fugitive, I never thought I would find a church to house me from the police, but my experience here was absolutely amazing! The pastor was extremely kind, and was even able to stall the police long enough for me to claim my next victim in the daycare of the church! Overall, I would say that if you’re a guy that likes to beat women every once in a while, this church is a great place worship, couldn’t recommend it enough.

I would give them 5 stars for replacing the ignorant pastor Rev. Care Goodstal Spinks, but I believe in self-accountability and due the events the occurred on 01-23-2018 (as stamped in the body worn camera of the lieutenant) my beliefs do not allow me to do so. It’s sad that your reputation as far as your google rating has been tarnished due to the lack of consideration or care from your previous pastor, however, when you make someone the face of your organization you are also accountable for their actions, but I decided to give a mostly positive review as I hope you have learned from your mistakes. I do hope your current administration is more respectful and supportive of the people that protect and serve the community that you care about and offer so much to.

Old Stone Church has always been a loving friendly place. Come to see for yourself how many activities for all ages we have, each day the church is always a buzz of activity. Our childcare is exceptional, our flea market and holiday fair are always festive and the best, our Thrift Shop is a great service to the community. With the Minister of music, the choir is growing and the music is extraordinary. We are told weekly that God Loves Us by our minister and we even say it to each other. There is a lot of friendship and fellowship that feels like family. Come pray with us.

Pastor stood on business. Only God can judge. Jesus showed compassion to criminals too and all she asked for was 5 minutes.
