This is the absolute worst utility company to deal with in the State of Connecticut. They demand that homeowners switch from their well water to their line, states that they will have to cap your well to make it unusable, even just for outdoor/landscaping. When you do make a request to transition their regional cross coordinator is very rude and accuses you of poisoning your family with your own private water source, then has you waiting for a very long period of time before they even get back to you about transitioning.

If I could give 0 stars I would. UNPROFESSIONAL & DISRESPECTFUL. We recently purchased a home with an unexpected ( and HAZARDOUS ) body of standing water behind the property. Connecticut Water Co. owns the property where this issue is occurring and they are refusing to help resolve the stagnant water because "They are unbothered by that piece of they're property". This body of water is feet deep, growing all types of algae, and is attracting so many mosquitos with god knows what diseases. Mind you we have a CHILD that this company is WELL aware of.

When building a new home in Enfield you MUST connect to their water main.

Brown water in faucets and toilets and was on line for 23 minutes. Called back numerous times and busy. Is the water safe to drink or bathe in and is it possibly only affecting our home?

Windsor locks resident, water hard and causes dry skin and hair shedding.. coming from MDC water this water is the absolute worse and prohibits living a regular life
