For the project I was working on he knew exactly how to set me up to sound amazing. I hired Noah from Manheimer Productions based on his fast response time and clear expertise recording music and also as a videographer. We had a phone call to discuss my vision for the showreel and I was impressed with how Noah had already begun to think about the project in great detail. He followed up with an email detailing the equipment and each step of the recording day - including offering his beautiful home as a recording location! We met at his studio where I recorded the audio on three different harps. Noah was very patient and gave me opportunities to listen to the tracks and choose between different types of sound mixes - I’m sure there is a more technical term for that! He created a relaxed atmosphere and even took extra footage for a ‘behind the scenes’ reel which is so lovely to have! After recording the 6 short pieces on three harps we then recorded the video for the black electro-acoustic harp in the studio with a black backdrop. It was a small set but he knew the angles to use and it came out looking so professional! A dark and imitate setting to suit the jazz/pop set in comparison to the open space of the barn like ceiling for the Celtic harp and the bright, spacious park for the classical pedal harp. We then headed to Noah’s home where we recorded the Celtic harp and again he knew exactly which shots would work well with the light and beamed ceiling! Finally we headed to a park in Ridgefield and we’re so lucky with the light at the end of the day.
Within less than a week Noah sent me through the finished product. The timing for the fast classical set needed a little syncing work but by email and in less than 12 hours we had everything resolved and I am so delighted with the outcome! I knew I needed a video and chose the music but Noah was the person who pulled it all seamlessly together with an artistic thread - his experience as a recording artist can be clearly heard when playing the video through good speakers and he managed to capture every aspect of my skills as an artist.
I am so thankful to have met Noah and look forward to working with him again on future projects. Also I’ve made a new friend and enjoyed my day and many conversations with him!

I've had great experiences with Noah's studio. I was on an orchestral record for the local RSO he did--the strings and vocals really benefited from the mic'ing and the room setup he had--airy and clear. We tracked acoustic guitar for one of my projects, and I was a sideman on acoustics and electrics for a songwriter record. We got sounds quickly and of these 3 projects, the results there were particularly pleasing to my ears. Different rooms options were nice, as well.
