My Mom has been a resident of All American at Enfield since February. The decision to move a loved one to an assisted living community is racked with many emotions. Having visited family members at other facilities, our expectations were not high. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed at the level of professionalism and enthusiasm expressed by the staff on our initial visits there. We were welcomed and encouraged to ask questions and talk to staff members. Since she's been a resident at All American, my mom's health has improved. She's eating three delicious meals a day, exercises, and socializes. I have peace of mind knowing that she's happy, safe and is cared for by a loving staff of incredible individuals.

My mom has been at all American in Enfied for a little over a year now. Dana has recently taken over as Director of nursing and since then it has been amazing to have Mom here. Mom is super happy and Dana has made it a very peaceful, calm experience we are very thankful to her. I also wanted to give a shout out to Michelle who works overnights with my mom. When I came in last week to pick up mom for a picnic, Michelle had gone out and bought her a new dress, on her own time, and with her own money, and would not accept any money from me. I was just so happy to have met her and to feel the love that she has for my mom. That makes it so much easier to have mom in the home. Jasmine (nurse in rose lane) has also been incredible from the very beginning!!

My mother-in-law is a recent addition to the resident population at All American Assisted Living in Enfield, CT.
We could not be happier with how she has adjusted to the move. She is greeted by her first name by all the staff. Dana McLaughlin and her crew got out of their way help and assist with whatever it may be. I should mention that the food is excellent and the facility is Spa ious and clean.
If you are faced with finding an assisted living residence for a.loved one, I would strongly encourage you to take a look at All American. It is a difficult decision to make but the people at All American will help put your mind at ease.

All America at Enfield is a beautiful, clean, and well maintained assisted living community. They offer multiple inclusive daily activities, including exercises classes, arts and crafts, games, cooking, music and more. There is something for everyone. The food is healthy and delicious. My father raves about the food! Prior to moving in, I raised concerns about my father's physical and mental well being. Shortly after he moved in, they had a physical therapist working several days a week with him and a therapist meeting with my father. The staff balances professionalism and compassion. It is obvious they all love their jobs and the residents. Watching my father thrive and make friends in the community has been an incredible relief.

Please think twice about sending your loved one here. It is an aesthetically beautiful facility, but that is very surface-level deep. The medical staff at this facility made the end of life process for my loved one a horrific and inhumane event with no dignity. My loved one suffered under their care and I will never forgive myself for moving my loved one in to this facility. There are a few good staff members, but overall, we experienced cold, aggressive, inappropriate, unprofessional unkindness when my loved one was there. And, if you raise concerns through the proper channels, behavior worsens and treatment becomes retaliatory. This behavior is from the top, executive director, right down. They will sell you a dream but you will live an absolute nightmare.

I cannot recommend All american enough. This place is not only stunning and beautiful but the staff, management and nurses are fabulous. I have been working here for a little over a week and it truly feels like family. It’s clean, neat and tidy. everyone responds to the phone or pages almost immediately. If i was old enough to live here i would in a heartbeat. But if you’re looking for assisted living or memory care for you or your loved one come on down to All American assisted living in enfield.

I visited a friend’s loved one at this facility and was so impressed with the cleanliness and utter beauty of the grounds! The outside overlooks some water and it really seemed serene. It was very nice.
However,
This is the outside, trust me on this.
My friends loved one was medically neglected. I witnessed this first-hand. Slumped over in distress, sitting in excrement, basically unresponsive, ie- NOT OK, and my friend was brushed off as if she was an imposition and was told “he’s fine, I see no distress and this is just part of his illness”. I was appalled. The nursing staff was so unkind and plain, mean. Abrasive, even cruel. What I witnessed was chaotic. My friend finally called “911”, her loved one was removed to an ER where he remains in critical condition.
