Excellent time and a wonderful experience. We went on their Ribs and Rum night last year. Wouldn't have missed it for the world this year. And we are already making plans to bring a large group next year. Guaranteed you won't be disappointed. Magical and Memorable evening out every time.

This place is a gem for families with small children, and a couples night out. With features such as a reindeer ride and dinner train, it's a win- win! Brunch is served on the reindeer ride and children complete a craft on a hour long ride along side a scenic connecticut river.
The meals served on the dinner train are delectable!!! Meal Choices include chicken, salmon, and steak. The steak👍🏽👍🏽!
Service is great and everyone is always so friendly.

Had an excellent time. Hard to pick whether I had more fun on the steam train or the steam boat. A fun trip back in time.

We absolutely love it, the food was amazing, the service was great!! The only thing I will suggest for next year is for them to add more decorations (I totally understand about this year with pandemic), and this year was our first year doing the dinner.
We have done years ago the polar express with the boys...but this is a great experience for the entire family . Inwould also suggest for them to add soup in the couse as well, dress appropriately its cold inside the train, we wre definitely doing again next year. We felt 100% safe ,great Job Essex.
