I had an unexpected emergency with my car while traveling up the interstate from Tuscaloosa headed to Virginia. I had no idea where I was much less who could help me, a woman traveling alone at 3pm. I called them from a simple Google search and Thor immediately eased my mind and gave me directions to the shop. The shop was the cleanest I’ve ever been in. Thor greeted me when I walked in and never talked down to me or made me feel like I was going to be taken advantage of just because I’m a woman. They fixed my car and had me back in the road in less than an hour. They even provided pictures of the problem and of how they fixed it, with a detailed written report that they texted me. They eased my mind and we even had a couple of laughs over football.
It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with an automotive shop. A1 Automotive is professional, respectful, clean, and organized. I liked and appreciated them so much, I’m considering driving the 2 hours from Tuscaloosa just to make them my new trusted mechanics for all of my vehicles!

I had a totally unexpected malfunction of the passenger window on my Tucson. It would NOT come up and with all the rain we’ve had I knew had to have it repaired. I first went to the dealership and was treated so rudely I decided to take the car to A1. Best decision ever. I was treated with total respect and they had my problem fixed in a short time. All the employees at A1 were friendly and helpful. Tim kept me updated every step of the way. I’m so pleased with them, I will take my vehicle to them from now on. I also feel like they are completely trustworthy. Highly recommend!

The staff is very professional, honset & very polite & friendly. They kept us informed throughout the entire process & checked in with us through every step. They offer the highest quality & professional work. It may not be the cheapest mechanic shop around, but it's also NOT over priced. For a reasonable price, you can leave feeling confident that the job was done right & your vehicle is running correctly. We had a belt break & I was afraid the bearings on the A/C compressor had gone bad & caused the break. They could've up-sold me on a new compressor clutch but they were honest & told me it was turning smoothly & it wasn't needed. We left with only the belt being replaced & with the confidence that our car was working the way it should. They were also very efficient & we got our vehicle back the same day. I'll definitely be back for all our other automotive needs & I'll be using them for the foreseeable future. Thanks A-1

Engine light kept coming on and we called A1. We were able to drop the vehicle off the next day. The next day they called and explained what they had found, nothing major and couple of things that did need to be repaired and a couple that was optional that could be a problem later
These people are very professional and very nice. They are not going to fix something that is not broken. You will not be over charged or pay for something they did not repair.
If you are a woman, take your car to this shop. They will fix your vehicle and you can be assured that it was repaired to the best of their ability. They are honest people.

I needed a place to service my F150. The local Ford dealership prides itself on their high prices, and lack of service. Thank goodness I found A1-Automotive. I was so glad everyone their was professional, competent, and they all had a smile on their face! The price surprised me, it was cheaper than I expected. Tim was awesome, and so was everyone else. I will continue to take my truck to them, and recommend them.

Tim was amazing! He helped me through the whole process when my transmission went out! They didn’t overcharge me & kept me updated with every step. Gus even went out of his way to get me a CarFax print off! I will use this center from now on!!

I needed someone with expertise to figure out what was going on with my 2017 Volvo. I googled foreign car repair and A1 Automotive was on the list.
