We are family of 5, came here on a weekend of October for apple picking. They charged us $3 each person just showing up then you pay your apples per lb. It would be nice if that entrance fee which is $15 for us will be deducted to the total amount of apples we picked $25. My husband liked the orchard though, there were still a lot apples on the trees though it’s late season. There is corn maze, pumpkin patch and hayride activities which you pay extra on top of it. I love to support this orchard but kinda a lil bit pricey for me in my opinion.

Giving one star because there is no way this corn is fresh picked. The peaches were outstanding. The tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers are great. As are the donuts. But this corn is not fresh as the tail and hair were dry and brown.

Really incredible, friendly staff all around. The produce selection is diverse and of quality, all at a cheap price point. Be sure to call in advanced to see what fruit is in season for picking. The picking itself is a fun afternoon activity, with plenty of fields for everyone to take home some juicy treats! Also the apple cider donuts... amazing!

My 7 year old daughter and I went on a Saturday morning and picked about 2 gallons of blueberries in 35 mins or so. I think it was $26 total. The blueberries were so sweet and delicious. Loved the experience, very peaceful and relaxing. Great learning activity for elementary school kids and older. Source the food, pick the food, then we made a crisp with the blueberries. She was very proud of her labors’ results.

Giving it three stars because of the $6.00 fee to pick and they still nag about "rules". I've been to their market. It's expensive. There's no reason to be so stingy that you're charging people just for showing up. We filled up 2 half-bushel bags and grabbed two little shots of cider (probably 4 oz each) and it came to ~$30.00. Experience was fine, but being nickel and dimed with fees leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Had a great time with the family here. I thought $10 per person for a corn maze was a little steep until I realized it included a hayride that brings you to the corn maze and also brings you by a pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins. Not to mention the hayride is pulled by two beautiful horses. The ride goes through their juicy apple orchards and though the woods. I do suggest they trim the path a little bit. But it's really nice. The maze is fun. The apples are huge and delicious. I recommend Scott's Yankee Farm for sure.

It was a little confusing on how to get here at first. They have a corner market store at the top of the hill where they sell fresh doughnuts and pies and pumkins and lots of other awesome stuff too but the family fun is just down the hill.

Okay. You could go to a really nice dinner in coastal Connecticut, or you could drive into Scott's, see what vegetables are looking. The roundest, fattest, and most colorful, throw it in a frying pan with some garlic, escapes and onions, save a ton of money, and eat just as well. The produce here is always fresh, sometimes freshly pulled out of the ground within the hour.

The corn, which greets you as you walk in the door, is otherworldly. It's called salt and butter corn, but the miracle of it is, you don't need to add either. My cooking companion says, I could eat that corn for every meal for the rest of my life. Seasonally, they also have a fruit picking patch, but I should probably save that for another review.

When entering this part of the world, as time allows, we've made it accustomed to set our destination, instead of wherever we're staying, to Scott's, and stop there first.

Also, make sure you grab one of those pies. They're huge, and filling, and might last you a couple meals... If you have that kind of restraint. In the words of my second favorite FBI special agent, it's damn good.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My daughter (8) and I went for blueberry picking. We were not sure where to go but the friendly staff in the store helped. The store also has some delicious sauces to purchase that they make. You drive past the shop on the left and there will be signs of where to go for the picking. You park to get a basket and then the nice girl points where to drive next. It was a pretty drive through the orchards to get to the blueberries. There was PLENTY to pick. They were in a screened in area so my daughter felt safe from bugs. Once you are done picking, you drive back to the booth and pay. Behind the booth is a flower garden. They will give you shears to cut your own flowers. There is a decent selection of beautiful flowers. My daughter was scared of the bees but still managed to cut 5 flowers. That was a cool experience for her as well. With the flowers and a decent amount of blueberries we spent less than 5 dollars! We would go back for sure.
