Tremendous experience! I made an appointment to change my iPhone line service and to upgrade to an iPhone 16. The associate, Amy , could not have been more helpful and pleasant. I feel she went above and beyond to make the service change over easy. I had previously moved my wife’s iPhone service via the Xfinity phone support app. All I can say is, it was painful.
For the upgrade, Amy again was very helpful and knowledgeable. She, along with the office manager worked with me to pick out the iPhone, products and services that were best for my needs. They also made sure I received all the current promotions that I was not aware of.
Overall a very good visit to the Xfinity store in Groton. I highly recommend making a reservation prior to visiting for help or support.
Job well done.

do not go to this location!!! we have had nonstop internet issues since we got xfinity, when we got our router no one asked for our id, we got to the house and spent 7 days trying to set it up while in constant contact with the store. we were told there was an outage when there wasnt, the installer came and told us there was no outage otherwise he would have been in the area for everyone as its the only internet provider that covers our area. we recently went into the store on account that our xfinity account got charged way too much. the entire experience was awful, we got absolutely no answers or support even when the manager came to help. we ended up going to a different store in middletown where we were told the groton location is a coorporate location and were complete idiots when figuring out what the issue was. at the new store we were in and out in less than 20 minutes with our issue fixed, as well as staff being friendly and talkative. its so worth traveling to a different location especially if you want your problems fixed!

I set up for service to be installed today and when they never showed, I called (took forever to get anyone on the phone) just to be told that cause I had an Essential plan, she couldn't help me. I then spoke to someone from the Essential department and was told that they never set me up with an account or appointment (which I had an email saying the appointment day and time) and was told that the price I was given wasn't available anymore and it would be another week before someone might come out to set it up..... Tired of companies thinking this is right.

Very difficult to get service. Hours on the phone trying to get a simple address change. Passed from person to person. My brother started but had to give up because he ran out of time to deal with it. Not all our time can be spent on hold with xfinity. You know. Life. So i took over and after more time finally got it fixed.

After 20 great years with Verizon i switched to xfinity, lured by lower rates and a payback promo for my old phones. The payback promo would be $1091 back to me. However, it is never going to happen!!! 4 visits and almost 5 hours to the Groton store has yielded nothing. No one can help. All I’ve gotten is runaround, excuses, and outright rudeness. Avoid! Stick with your current carrier, even if you are paying more. If you have xfinity, do not use this store.

Never have i been treated so badly and disrespected. This is not a place you would ever want to go to. Trying to help my disabled mother get her Internet essentials, the employee took it upon himself to somehow be triggered by that. Maybe he's been constipated all day or something because not only did he not accept i was on my moms account and call me a liar, then he messed with my mom's account and tried to remove me from her account. The way he talked to me was just insulting and disgusting. All after waiting over an hour. After leaveing i made a call to the xfinity customer service center and they confirmed what he did but they quickly fixed it with many apologies and are sending me what my mom needs which I'm grateful for. Spoke to a supervisor from xfinity customer service to hopefully investigate and fire the employee. The rudness was enough but to then mess with my mom's and my account, that should be criminal. For your own safety and dignity, I'd stay far away from this store. Not a welcoming place where you'll be helped. Stay away!

My experience this month with xfinity has been absolute hell on earth! I just got WiFi and I paid for the first time charge and the bill on the first to match up with my ssi payments. Then they shut my WiFi off for no reason, making up excuses saying it’s connected to my cable (which it’s not as my cable is part of my federal housing and separate), said I didn’t pay even though they charged my card and took the money from my ssi payment on the first. They would turn my WiFi back on and hours later turn it off. I would call again flipping out while having massive panic attacks, whilst explaining to them that it is illegal for them to rob me by taking my payment and then shutting off my services. I even told them that it’s not right for them to do this to their loyal disabled customers. I told them I would reach out to my friend Sen. Chris Murphy and department of consumer protection if they kept this up to which they still kept canceling my WiFi for no reason. Then told 11/12/24 they send me a bill saying I only paid 107.50 and my actual bill is $117.36 after 13 different people I spoke both over the phone, their stupid chat, and the people in the store all told me it was $107.50. Now they say it is $117.36 and I owe them $9.86 and if I don’t pay them by nov 26 they’re going to shut my WiFi off yet again. This is the absolute worst service I’ve ever received from them. I wouldn’t recommend them at all to anyone unless they get better quality services. They also need to fix their systems so that way shit like doesn’t happen. They’ve sent me to the er 7 times now with a massive panic attacks each time due to the problems they are causing me just for trying to get WiFi in my house as I’m almost a complete paraplegic and am pretty much confined to my house. If I didn’t need WiFi so bad, I’d cancel xfinity and get frontier but unfortunately frontier doesn’t service my area here in Norwich. So I’m stuck with xfinity who robs people of their money and then cancels the services they paid to have for no reason. I’m so disappointed in xfinity as they have gone downhill so bad in the past 10 years that I’ve used their services
