The museum consists of a "village"- multiple structures like a doctor's office, barber shop, general store and post office, school house, church, maple sugaring shack, a structure full of carriages and wagons , and railroad shanty. There is also a house from the 1800s with many items from the time period on display. The main structure houses farm implements, toys, and artifacts from Native Americans as well as other items used in previous generations. The museum is open Tuesdays and Saturdays May- October, and is cash only. Volunteers at the museum give you a guided tour. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you call in advance they have hands on activities for kids that they will set up.

My boyfriend and I had a tour with Dale and it was SO nice. He’s a very sweet man and we had a very nice time and chat with him while he took us around. Highly recommend going! It was so neat and there was so much to see. The little town was adorable and it was really nice to hear the back stories of the buildings. Hopefully going to go back for their fall festival!

Great experience! We live roughly 6 hours away and were visiting the area for a wedding. My family did not have enough time to see and experience everything this museum has to offer. My family, including a ten year old, seven year old, and 5 year old are excited to to back!

Thank you Deb for the private tour last week. Your crew has done a fabulous job bringing these buildings and antiquities together to tell the story of farming in Bradford County. The Farm Days 1866 program for 4th graders brings that era back to life for the new generation of youth, getting their hands dirty in gardens and enjoying homemade ice cream.

This is much more than a “farm museum", it is a museum of early rural Pennsylvania life. Barb gave us an informative and interesting tour. It is only open on Saturday and Tuesday, but with the drive and the planning.

Very lovely museum with a comprehensive collection of farm equipment and home and household items from when we lived in a much simpler time. Curators, assistants friendly. Sometimes the tour is self guided.
