Never again! I had a whole cow processed at Crowes and the steaks look like they were cut at room temperature with a spoon , wadded into a ball, sealed and thrown in the freezer. Very ununiform cuts, the ribeye's may be 1.5" at one end and the cut tapers off to 1/4" at the other. The filets were cut into little 2oz pieces like stew meat. I requested the brisket be left whole, it was returned cut in half. No thanks for that one. I specifically requested that the heart be left whole and returned. Instead a got the liver (which I didn't want) and no heart. Given the amount of burger I got back in comparison to steaks a talented butcher would have made, it appears that they know how to run a grinder but that's about it. Take your cow somewhere else if you want even a half way decent job done. These folks are a disgrace. They only got one star because none wasn't an option.
Response to owner: I have the yellow ticket in my hand and confirmed with the farmer that this is the right location before writing the review. the reason you don’t recognize my name is because the farmer dropped off the steer, gave you my order sheet and picked up the meat. The ticket clearly calls out all of the requested information I referenced, it was just ignored. I purposely cropped out the farmers name. See the attached picture.
