Their customer service is exceptional—whenever we’re running low on oil, they prioritize our delivery and make sure we never run out, providing us with peace of mind. The team’s reliability and commitment to customer satisfaction are second to none. A special thank you to Heather Brooks for always going above and beyond. She is not only incredibly communicative and responsive but also genuinely respectful and attentive whenever I reach out. I'd also like to give a huge shout out to Brian, who recently went out of his way to help us when we needed oil urgently. He rerouted his entire day to make sure we got the delivery and was extremely kind and helpful in doing so.

It's rare to find such dedicated and caring service, and it’s one of the many reasons we continue to trust Northeast Oil & Propane.

I have been using Northeast Oil & Propane since I moved to Putnam in 2020. They are fantastic. I'm really not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. The customer service department is always extremely helpful when ordering my propane deliveries, and recently my boiler broke and the service I received from them to repair it was top notch. Jacob, the technician, deserves a raise! He went above and beyond to make sure the work was done properly and that I was happy. Plus the part needed for the furnace was a special order and they had it within a day. I am grateful to have Northeast Propane for my heating needs. 5 stars!

I have been using this company for about a years and never really had a problem until recently. I have no idea who I spoke with but it was a male. I called on Monday morning when I noticed my tank was down to 20%. He said that I should have called sooner and that they would not be out until the end of of the week or the next following week. Later that day money was already taken out of my account with no delivery. I received my delivery at the end of week and received no receipt, so I have no idea how much I was charged. I have been thinking of switching due to this situation, I just wasn't feeling like a customer at all.

I have been a loyal customer of this propane company for 17 years, but unfortunately, their service has gone completely downhill. A couple of months ago, I had to spend nearly 30 minutes on the phone just to request a propane fill-up. The representative was unhelpful, and I had to ask for a manager just to get basic assistance.

Now, I’m in an even worse situation. I’ve been trying to request a propane delivery for nearly a week, but no one answers the phone. I’ve left multiple messages, reached out through their website, and still have not received a response. As I’m running dangerously low on fuel in the middle of winter, this lack of communication is completely unacceptable.

After checking their Facebook page, I saw a notice claiming their phones aren’t working—which I find hard to believe. I left a comment about my experience, and instead of addressing my concerns, they blocked me from their page. This level of disregard for customer safety and service is inexcusable, especially for a propane company during the coldest months of the year.

I will be switching to another supplier immediately, and I strongly caution others against using this company. If they can’t handle something as basic as answering calls and delivering fuel, they should not be in business.

We have been on auto delivery, now at less than 10% we called a week ago to find out when they would be out. The answer on Monday was by the end of the week (Friday) on Friday we notice still no fill up. We call after work and get the answering service that tells us there is a note on our account that they came Tuesday and couldn’t access the tank due to snow. I guess they didn’t think it was important to inform us, all along thinking they were still coming by end of week. When we complain they said someone would br by tonight and be sure the area is clear. After spending over an hour shoveling and salting the lawn path to the tanks at 8pm still no delivery. Not sure how much worse this could get. I am waiting for the tanks to run empty so I can drag them up to the road and get another provider.

Jennie was phenomenal! I'd highly recommend calling north east oil directly and praying that Jennie handles your area because she made everything so easy and convenient for me after almost a week of fighting tooth and nail to become a customer and get propane with other divisions of the company (not northeast oil), then one 10 minute call with Jennie and within the hour she had called back with a delivery date! And being the amazing employee she is she even expedited the delivery for me and made everything very accommodating! She turned an upset customer who was ready to seek other options into a 5 star review so if her boss is reading this, give her a damn raise because she deserves it! It seems like Jennie and her employees at northeast oil actually care in comparison to the other divisions that I'll leave unnamed. Moral of the story if you go with anyone affiliated with northeast oil I'd contact northeast directly and ask for Jennie!

Pam, the customer service manager, is amazing and should be extremely valued as an employee. She went above and beyond for my family and I on this cold day. We unfortunately ran out of propane overnight unbeknown to us as we mistakenly thought we were still on auto delivery. Definitely our fault, but mistakes happen and she did everything in her power to get us a delivery just before days end. We are so extremely appreciative of her efforts and truly feel valued as a customer. We also want to thank the delivery service driver whose name I can't recall right now but he also helped save the day and his efforts are greatly appreciated!

Been a client for years however for the past few years it has become extremely difficult to get someone to answer the phone or call you back when you leave a message (which they request after not answering). Very disappointing.

As a followup, I never received a phone call as the company's response to my post promised.
