I am a single woman who has a disability but strives to stay independent. I received the worst wood for heat ever.. Lots of punky wood and 90% to long so i have to use one piece of that and kitty corner it so it will fit. I donated alot of it as it was Not split. Couldn't even pick those pieces up. They said be patient and they would come and resplit it. Its cold now. 🥶 and never came and i had to get what I could in before i ran out of time. Sad that they did this so hence no longer using them..

I used to buy wood to build projects at which time you would have to move a couple boards to retrieve boards decent enough to make the project, knowing that it is rough sawn pine. We would always place boards back on pile and have straightened up several piles that other customers left on the ground. The other day we went to Jordan’s to buy more lumber, and the owner stated that we were supposed to take from the top of the pile including damaged twisted junk that you couldn’t do anything with other than bring it home and put it in a burn pile. He further indicated if we wanted to pick from the pile he would charge extra. If he ran a decent business and eliminated the junk off the pile people would not have to pick through. When your builds have pride you always pick over a couple boards to make the project worth having, not build it with twisted junk. Maybe there should be a little QC in the process, if you know what that means. Never will I go back and waste my time on this place. Customers beware !
