If I could give 10 stars, I would. I had extensions put in my hair from another salon and it was a nightmare. The girls at A Cut Above spent 6 hours removing extensions and reapplying correctly. Jessica is young, but is naturally talented hairdresser. She does my hair perfectly every time. If you are looking to get extensions, I highly recommend her. She is very we trained in how to apply so that the hair looks and feels natural. Below is a picture of my hair with the extensions. I'm going to try to find a before pic so you can see the difference between what hairpins like when done correctly by a well trained professional versus how it looks when applied incorrectly.

Went a few months ago to get my hair colored a light brown, left with my hair looking orangey/yellow, and color all over me. Color was splotchy and not blended at all, it was all over my neck,face, and back. Got it done by Emily.

I've been going to Mia since I started getting my hair done at A Cut Above over a year ago and I've never wanted to go anywhere else. Everyone in the salon makes it feel like family when you walk in, and I can always ask them about products or how to do certain things with my hair. Not only are the informative, but they're honest in telling you when something won't work with your hair. When I schedule appointments I'm always seen on time, and I'm always notified when things change in a timely manner.

If you're a male avoid at all costs...
Went here going for a haircut as I trusted a salon to cut my longer hair more than a barber (First mistake). It was very long, and I wanted it to just below my shoulders. not only did they cut it above my shoulders (Far above Just below ears), but it looks just absolutely dreadful and I can't do much with it at this length, getting married in a couple months and wanted to do this as a way to feel better about my hair for the wedding, but now I feel worse than ever...

Beautiful salon! Samantha Lord is my hairstylist and she is so very wonderful. She has helped me grow out my hair from a very short cut, and now maintains my very long hair. I highly recommend Samantha and this salon. I always look forward to my visit! 😁✨

i went here as a new customer wanting to get my roots done and be lifted to a platinum blonde. i was already a very bright blonde to begin with. kim did my hair. before i left , i noticed that my hair had some very yellow streaks where she didn’t get toner on it. i didn’t say anything bc i needed to leave. i came back about a week later and my hair looked much worse then it did before , it was literally neon yellow at my roots. when i came back , all she did was tone me. the toner took made me a darker shade of blonde , which everyone should know how frustrating that is when u spend so much time and money getting ur hair lifted , just for it to come out darker. then , about a week later , my friend courtney went there to see the same kim. courtney has dark brown hair with highlights. she pulls red very easily. kim did not use bleach on her hair , she used blonde hair dye! blonde hair dye is not meant for people with dark brown hair , especially when u pull red. courtney came out of the salon , hundreds of $’s later , with her hair looking the exact same , but had red roots and red tint all throughout her hair. thanks kim.

I got a simple blow out with hair wash and they told me on phone that it costs 28 dollars but they charged me 50 saying my hair are thick. On top of it they were asking for a tip. They should have the decency to tell the person that we know you booked a simple blow out but your hair are think. Also I pay 50 for a hair cut and here I did for a simple blow out.
