My family was in need of some work done on our home. We asked around and yes we googled some contractors. We called JC Merritt. Spoke to Brandon and set up a time for him to meet with us. He was the most professional and knowledgeable contractor I have dealt with. So, we had our roof replaced. They did a magnificent job. Neat and Clean. Because of that we had our house and deck power washed by them. It came out Like New. Couldn’t be more please. So…. Guess what Brandon… More work is coming your way.
Anyone reading this that is in need of a great contractor. Please give JC Merritt a chance. You won’t be disappointed

We are extremely happy with the work JC Merritt Inc did for us at our summer cottage. They managed to update our kitchen and bath and maintain the cottage feel of our third generation, home away from home. The workmanship was excellent and everything was done on time and within budget! We do not live nearby so we needed someone trustworthy. Jeff, Brandon and Trevor were great at communicating and letting us know whenever an issue came up or a decision had to be made. Everyone we met was highly skilled, professional and just seemed like nice people! I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their home.

I called them to have them come by to estimate some work. They canceled the first appointment the day before they were supposed to come. They came a few days later and we went over what I needed done. They said they would get back to me with an estimate. I never got a call back and at this point it's been a couple of months. If they treat prospective clients this way, I can't imagine what they will do once they have your money.

Not sure why the owner asked me to take this down. It is my legitimate experience. If you wanted me to pay you for the estimate I would have paid you. I was looking to spend about $150,000 on a remodel that is now going to someone else because you couldn't be bothered to what? Call me to tell me that we aren't a good fit? Funny thing is, your reviews were all good until this year. My advice would be to figure out what changed over the last few months rather than trying to get honest opinions on the service provided removed.

Being in the trades, I have high standards for anyone doing work at my residence, and their company not only meets, but exceeds my standards. Didn't show up for two scheduled appointments. Didn't even call to cancel or reschedule. Completely unprofessional in all aspects. My architect sent them tons of plans and information and then they call me asking questions that are all clearly answered by everything which was already sent them. It is obvious they didn't even review what was sent.

I cannot say enough to avoid this business at all costs. They are unprofessional, inconsiderate, rude and condescending.

We used JC Merritt to solve a long-standing issue with a wet basement. The new French drain lives up to their promise of a dry basement! They are truly professional, honest, friendly, hard working and frankly the kind of people to invite to dinner once the project is done! We hope to use them again in the future to solve more of our “old house issues”.
