Fantastic Find!! So educational and inspiring. They have a craft area for everyone. Video Room to view the past and present heritage. The Museum areas such as the Rainforest and fishing is phenomenal. They also provided treasure hunt. I felt great that I was afforded the opportunity to leave a donation from Michigan. In addition, military veterans and family get in free!! Awesome must stop.

Excellent visitor center that has a gift shop and a museum. The visitor center is ran by the National Park services. You can get your National Park passport stamp/cancellations on this place.

The place didn’t have a restroom so you need to go across the road for the restroom.

Free with America the Beautiful pass and a short walk from the cruise ship docks. Lots of great displays, clean bathrooms, water bottle fill station, a nice penny press machine, and a good gift shop with locally made gifts, plus friendly rangers.

Highly recommend. Great facility and very educational!! Don’t forget your America The Beautiful Pass. It’s only $5 a person regardless and it’s worth every penny. Spend the admission to use the cleanest bathrooms in Ketchikan and ditch that nasty ass cruise ship water and refill your bottles at the water fountain with some glorious Alaska tap water.

This museum was a fun visit for my son, mother and I (good for all ages.) the exhibits are somewhat interactive and visually well done so good for kids. It is a low cost ticket to enter and will fill an hour or more easily. They have a Junior Ranger program with activities book that was a fun experience as well. The movie was interesting for me and my mom but maybe a bit too dry for kids. All in all, recommend!

One of the best visitor centers we've ever been too and a very welcome surprise during one of our cruise ports. Fantastic and thorough displays, large learning areas and a stellar Jr Ranger Badge program made this one of the highlights of our trip. The giftshop and partnership with nearby Cape Fox Cultural Foundation was also a huge added bonus!
