Because I worked in a shop with one other person and on different tasks I decided to show up and toughin out my shift -SICK! I made it no one’s problem and I got my work done! Come to clock out time at 5pm, I innocently clocked out 3 minutes early thinking it’d be okay! About 15 people wait to clock out, by this time everyone is lining up - I had already clocked out and the less contact I made I thought was better because I didnt want to get others sick!!!! As I reached the door to walk out I was approached by Albert Cruz! AND he quickly became furious that I was 2-3 minutes early from 5 O’clock! I asked him if he wanted me to clock back in and he replied with “ You know what?! Just bring all your stuff, and don’t come back!”. I was only employed by Palmers for 4 months! I received a raise and never called in as well! The week prior I was harassed and threatened by Albert because I had previously asked him if it was okay, if I could leave for an interview appointment! I mentioned his behavior to team members and Cesar Pardo, but they said that that’s how he is! He held that against me! Many people come and go QUICKLY from Paintshop/Sandblast. Instead of finding positive solutions to keep people he instead tells them “ if you don’t want to work here get the F out” in Spanish and English. Very unprofessional and if you’re applying for either sandblast or paint I hope you reconsider it. The pay/biweekly is not worth it!! The way Emily and Albert handled my situation was very poorly! As soon as the incident happened I called Emily (HR) and she said “aren't you looking for a other job anyways ?” Emily tried to justify Alberts actions by saying he was “frustrated”.
