Nobody knows how to work the phones. I called over a week ago and left a voicemail asking for them to call me back. I can’t make an account online for some reason to schedule an appointment so I called. Today I started calling a hour before they closed almost twenty times. They let the phone ring and half of the time they would just send me to voicemail. I live two hours away and need to know what paperwork to bring before I go and I can’t even get that information.

The deers office here is absolute trash. Today is Friday and I called last Wednesday to get my wife into deers. The front desk office lady doesn’t want to do her job, they know that they have RDO days off and stuff but they didn’t tell anyone that, so they have soldiers wives comming down from all over the country and they have days like these and don’t tell anyone. Soldiers can’t afford to keep paying for flights and stuff like that

The lady at the front desk was very nice and listened to my concerns about paperwork. She handed me a buzzer to wait to be seen on the spot (outside of walk-in hours). I waited maybe 10 minutes and was seen at cubicle 1. The lady there was extremely nice and explained everything to a T until I felt I completely understood. The whole experience was easy, reassuring, and professional. Best DEERs office I have been at. The employees seem to genuine care about their jobs and issues you are experiencing.

I am highly dissatisfied with the service provided at this government office, particularly by the front desk staff member, Elyssa. My wife, who requires a spouse/dependent ID, has faced significant disrespect and what appears to be discrimination from Elyssa, seemingly because of her religious attire as a Muslim wearing a headscarf.

Despite our repeated visits—this being our fourth—we have received poor communication and incorrect information each time. Currently, my wife is unwell, experiencing severe pain, yet we find ourselves waiting for hours with no attention or assistance.

I am concerned about three issues:
1. Apparent discrimination based on religion.
2. A lack of accountability and professionalism within this department.
3. Inefficiency and rudeness from both the staff and management.

Regrettably, this waiting hall, though empty, still holds us back due to what I perceive as intentional and unjust delays by Elyssa. I have attached a picture for reference, underscoring the lack of attendees and the unnecessary delay we are facing.

By far the worst DEERS Office I've had the displeasure of visiting. Not only does it take three weeks to book an appointment, you have to wait anyway. What's the point of booking an appointment?

Worst ever in National Guard DEERS have way more respect for their clients or customers Fort Riley does not care and never mind calling because they will never return your phone call and/or never answer the phone. You would think with all the bad reviews they will make some changes but I guess they’re too lazy to do that as well.

Called 20 times in a row. Answering machine picked up 20 times. Might as well put a robot at the desk or set up an automated system for all the good the receptionist does.

First negative interaction ive had with this place. Called and the lady was rude and unhelpful. I always love to feel like a burden to the people that are meant to help us.
