I hired Palmwood Construction last February after visiting a number of builders in the area. Not only was their pricing highly competitive, but the sales people at Palmwood were very educated on the company, the process and all of their various model homes. This made my choice much easier. My salesperson was Nikki, and she was great to work with. She was knowledgeable, responsive and trustworthy. In some cases, other builders didn't even bother to respond to my request for more information and quotes. But Palmwood was totally different - very customer service-oriented and professional. They have a whole staff of individuals to to assist their customers. Plus, they have a local corporate office that is open Monday through Friday should you need anything both during the build and after! Most importantly, my home was built on-time (in fact ahead of schedule), on budget and correctly. Palmwood builds a beautiful home, and the quality of construction is superior to other builders in my opinion. I would recommend Palmwood to all of my family and friends. The entire process was much less stressful than I thought it would be, and I have a beautiful new home built to my exact custom specifications!

We are so pleased with our Palmwood Construction home and our experience with the Palmwood Team of experts and professionals! Shout out to the many people who made our dream house a reality, especially our supervisor, Richard Esposito, for his excellent management and oversight of the entire process from beginning to end, his knowledge and expertise of the construction process, from the smallest detail to the biggest aspects was invaluable and reassuring to us that we were in excellent hands and most of all, for his patience! There were many others involved in the construction of our home and I am afraid I won't be able to name them all, but kudos to Judy for the magnificent kitchen design and Danny for the installation, Jay's Pools for the pool, deck, and screened cage, Bob (Geppetto) for his masterful finish carpentry, and so many others (Sonny for the rock work, Tim for the landscaping). All the craftsmen were the best and took great pride in their work...some of whom were 2nd and 3rd generation craftsmen in their family! Equally impressive were those behind the scenes at the office who put the "custom" into custom construction! Allan, who made many changes to the architectural plans based on our preferences, Cheri, who kept track of many purchase orders and billing issues and communicated with us promptly about any questions and finally to Chris Glover for sharing his own expertise with us about different aspects of the build and for having a dedicated and professional team!

I highly recommend calling Ian at Palmwood Construction. I started the interview process calling 15 custom builders. Ian quickly became number one. We are building a custom waterfront home. Ian's knowledge and experience in this area greatly surpassed everyone I spoke with. Palmwood pricing is reasonable, and couple that with Ian's ability to make it happen, makes this a wonderful experience. I'm a novice at this, I relied on Ian and his staff to help me, and they have really come through on this. I believe Ian has worked relentlessly for me. You really owe it to yourself to call Palmwood and ask for Ian.

There’s so much great things that I can say about this company, but I’ll try to keep it short. My wife and I bought our first home at the age of 20. We lived there for 13 years and had two children there. We had thoughts of a forever home for a while. We knew exactly what we wanted, but didn’t know which builder to use. I’m in the real estate business so over the course of a couple years. I was taking notes figuring out what we wanted. Once I purchased my vacant piece of land, we got real serious on our plans to build so we actually went to a few other builders had plans drawn up, but it just didn’t feel right. The biggest concern we had was we needed to know exactly how much the house was going to cost (no estimates or surprises) And with Palmwood they were able to tell me to the dollar amount what it would be. They were upfront about the cost of extras if we wanted to choose some upgrades throughout the process and also with a custom home, there could be some additional fees at the end so they prepared me for that. There’s always lots of houses being built and some horror stories that get spread around and I understand some things happen we are all humans but our experience was wonderful. They told us 18 months and they got it done just short of that. Everybody I talked to and worked with or seen at the job site was great! I want to thanks everybody involved from Phillip At sales, our Awesome contract manager, Michelle and the great superintendent we had Scott this team made our experience building our forever home amazing! Thank you Palmwood. Keep doing great things, I hope to refer as many friends and family to you as I can.

Palmwood did an excellent job on our new home. We modified one of Palmwood’s plans — the Aruba Grande, I believe — and it turned out great.

We liked the whole Palmwood team. In particular, though, Kevin, the construction supervisor, was amazing — responsive, knowledgeable, and on the ball. Very easy to work with.

The resulting house is beautiful, and we are quite happy with it!

Palmwood Homes did a great job building our dream house in the Royal Highlands area. Everyone was very professional and if there was an issue they took care of it in a timely manner. All warranty items were taken care of, and now the Cabana Key is a dream come true for us. A special thanks to Chris Glover, Linda McCabe, Terresa Glover, Judy Ultch, Robyn Tiderington, Linda O' Connors, Beth Ann Reed, Richard Esposito, Stuart Doane and Cheri Cappello. Our new Palmwood home is complete and we could not be happier. We met with the super in January to go over the floor plan and the necessary site work. Less than 11 months later we had the keys to the house. The Palmwood team kept us informed of the progress every step of the way. They were quick to respond to our questions and were good at explaining the 'why' behind their responses. Big thanks to super Steve for keeping the build on track, Linda and Michelle for contract efforts and Teresa, Judy and team for the valuable input on the finishes.
