BEWARE!

This company contracted with an outside crew to replace my roof. The crew rushed through the job, apparently trying to remove the old roof in a day, throwing debris from the roof in all directions, and hitting my neighbor’s windows and AC. My entire neighborhood was upset by the frenzy of the crew at my home. I had hoped the owner would come out and see what was going on, but he did not.

Removing two skylights was part of the project. The crew did nothing to protect the interior of my home and allowed wood and debris to fall inside, filling my bathtub, hitting furniture, and covering my stairs. The sloppiness and damage done was appalling.

In addition, the company owner refused to replace the old fascia, even though the salesman had assured me it would be included in the job. When I complained to the salesman, he confirmed that, yes, the fascia was a part of the job he had quoted. Finally, the owner came out to look at the job, but still refused to include the fascia.

Afterwards, I had to hire another company to replace the fascia. As a result, Eco’s owner said he would void my warranty, even though he had said fascia was not included. He attempted to force me to pay his company additional money to do the work that his rep had assured me was included. He told me that “if anyone else touched his work,” my roof’s warranty would be invalidated. The contractor I hired to replace the fascia told me that he, in no way, disturbed (touched) Eco’s work. He replaced the rotten fascia below the roof—the part the owner said was NOT a part of Eco’s job.

The owner insisted my warranty was invalidated anyway.

Unbeknownst to me, the roofing (wrecking) crew had uncovered and left exposed an area I had paid an exterminator to remedy and seal the prior year, when bats had invaded the space above my attic. Recently, I discovered the bats had returned. I have had to start over on the bat elimination process and have had to contract with yet another company to once again humanely remove the bats, clean and treat the space, and cover and seal the area Eco exposed and left open.

Even before I learned about the new bat issue, I compiled a file with photos that documented everything that happened throughout the roofing project and included pictures of all the damage the company caused. The file was quite large and detailed and evidenced everything I endured at the hands of Eco. I even submitted the document of many pages to the owner, in hopes he would finally realize just how bad and traumatic my experience with his company had been. I had hoped to see a modicum of humility, at best, and at the very least, accountability. Instead, he dug his heels in deeper, saying he was not going to guarantee his company’s work.

The only reason I did not sue Eco for the unnecessary anguish and expense they caused is that I did not choose to waste one more minute of my life focusing on this company’s failure to oversee their crew, unwillingness to make things right, and extreme lack of accountability.

As an 80-year-old woman, I was taken advantage of in countless ways and by voiding my warranty, the owner flexed his muscles as a bully, demanding retribution for my efforts toward holding him accountable.

I will continue to repost this review as many times as they have it removed, in hopes to protect others from going through the excruciatingly painful experience I had with Eco. I am, in no way, a vengeful person, but the repercussions of contracting with this company continue to haunt both my mind and my pocketbook.

We needed to replace our roof on short notice because we were selling this house. Bobby and his crew took the project over quickly including dealing with our insurance adjuster for our claim. His crew put on a new roof as soon as the HOA would allow such work and did a great job. We have dealt with a number of construction companies for various projects and found Eco very responsive and easy to deal with, not always the case with other contractors.
I would recommend them very highly for any home construction project.

Eco construction completed a roof repair at my home. They were quick with providing a competitive estimate. Once the estimate was approved, the work was completed within days. The crew completing the repairs were polite and the work area was cleaned up as it should be. I would highly recommend Eco constructions and any home repairs.

From the owner of the company to the subcontractors, Eco Construction Group is a top notch organization. They handled our kitchen renovation and we couldn’t be happier! Every time we ran into to issues, due to the age of our house, they walked us through the options and helped us settle on the right choice for our design.
We’ve had bad experiences with contractors in the past and we were blown away by the attention to detail and customer service. I highly recommend using their services!
