This cafe is attached to a medical building and hospital. My wife and I both had salads as we arrived early for an ultrasound. It is an order at the counter and they bring it out to you kind of place. My wife had chicken walnut salad and I had fried chicken salad. Both were well presented (We started eating before I remembered to take pics!) and pleasing to the eye! Of course the real test is in the eating! Both were delicious!

The food was terrible. The only saving grace of my meal was the salad and the bread. The carrot cake was good too. The pasta from heaven is actually from hell. No flavor, and the chicken is almost like canned chicken. Almost like it’s boiled or precooked, frozen, then reheated in the restaurant. Super weird. Didn’t take like anything.

Omg!! This place was amazing. It was our first time and won’t be our last! Portions are big in my opinion. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was so clean. Desert was okay. It was hard as a rock due to being frozen. So skip the desert! We had the peanut butter bar thing and cake. Just can’t say enough good things about this place. We’re so full!

I have to agree with another review. I watched the manager get nasty with employees last night. We have been loyal Red Onion customers for more than 15 years. The food was as delicious as always, but his attitude towards the employees and me were uncalled for. My 2 year old had spilled some of his drink and we needed napkins. I approached the counter and every single employee was gathered at the door to the kitchen. I tried to say "mam" to get the attention of the one closest to me, as none saw me there and napkins are not where customers can get them. I watched as the manager started handing off food and raising his voice to tell them to go with it. Then one male employee grabbed some silverware packets to take and he was reprimanded because one of the girls already had silverware. I was told something along the lines of wait. I told them that I just needed napkins and were there not any out here. Yes. The manager's response was, "No, mam." However, his tone was not kind at all. To the point that my husband doesn't want to return to this location again. (Note we have eaten here multiple times and never had any issues.) I asked one of the employees if he was the owner. She said he was the manager. She excused his behavior by telling me that he was hard of hearing and they were really busy. I'm uploading a picture of what is apparently "really busy." Even if they were really busy, his behavior is not okay. We probably won't return as long as he works there, as it's obvious from an earlier review that this isn't the first time he's behaved this way. Please note that the food is wonderful and we really have had great service in the past.

Overall, the meal I had was decent. The pasta was slightly overcooked and loaded with pepper but still had a decent flavor and the sauce was thick and creamy as for the chicken it was moist but didn't have the texture of real chicken it was more like a processed chicken. As for the potato soup, it was respectable but reminded me of a reconstituted soup mix.
My mistake was expecting the same exceptional quality as the original on 4th street. That being said, I was only disappointed due to my lofty expectations. I would absolutely eat here again. I just would not order meals I was accustomed to having at 4th street. Rather, I would pick a nicenbistro sandwich or burger.

We love the Red Onion. The breakfast has good portions, the food is wonderful and good quality. Their appetizers are delish. Their sandwiches are large and filled with loads of meat and real cheeses. Their signature dressing is delish. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable for portions.

Worst service EVER! They don’t deserve even 1 star. There are just no words to describe how TERRIBLE the service was. I can guarantee that I will NEVER step a foot in, or waste my breath on a phone call.
