We purchased bar from Sam's. It's very good quality all cedar, easy instructions to assemble. During a storm half of the bar got destroyed. We contact costumer service of Backyard Discovery. They were very helpful and with big discount I was able to purchase demaged parts. Very happy customer.

Norwood 10x10 gazebo; fantastic product!! Simple to put together but 3-4 people for connecting sides and putting on roof assemblies is recommended.
I added, fan, TV, screens and gutters.
Gutters are J Channel 1.5” wide and only found one supply see picture.
TV brackets are from Home Depot as well as 1x6” cedar board and fan.

You can order direct and customize! This place isnt just about kids play houses they have cabanas, car ports, and every other outside fun house you can imagine. Oh! Get this, they consider HOA restrictions during product development.

I have to say that Backyard Discovery truly exceeded my expectations! I purchased a floor sample pergola from Sam's Club, and unfortunately, many things went wrong with the purchase and what we received. After contacting Sam's Club HQ, I was surprised to receive an email from Geoff Daniel, Vice President of Sales – National Accounts for Backyard Discovery.

Even though Backyard Discovery did nothing wrong, Geoff reached out to me personally. During our conversation, he apologized for the issues we encountered with Sam's Club and offered to replace the pergola at no cost, including installation. I was amazed! Their company was not at fault, yet they took full responsibility to ensure our satisfaction.

True to his word, we received a brand new pergola delivered to our door, and a crew came by a week later to install it. This experience demonstrated the company's exceptional integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction. Backyard Discovery went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience with their product, correcting an error that wasn't theirs. I am incredibly impressed and grateful for their outstanding service. We are now lifetime customers for Backyard Discovery!

I also want to mention that Sam's Club reached out to us, apologized for the situation, and refunded half of the price we paid for the pergola. They assured us that the incident was discussed with Club management and would be used as a learning experience for their personnel.

Started this project Wednesday and placed the last bolt on Friday totalling to about 15 hours.

Our Method:
The builder
The organizer

The organizer will need to lay all 4 boxes out (the parts are scattered) and organize them by letters then numbers.

The organizer will keep the book and have each step with the parts ready for the builder (this helps by avoiding over looking steps) while the builder is working on that step the organizer will prepare the following step. Once the builder completed that step the organizer will take a quit glance and ensure the step is accurate. (This helps overall accuracy)

The builder will download the BILT app on their phone and use that as a secondary instruction manual with step by step and 3D animated instructions. The builder and organizer will continuously be on the same step.

This method helps ease the stress.

There builder doesn't have to worry about scrambling everywhere looking for parts and the organizer doesn't have to worry about the labor. This splits the work and stress down the middle.

Before you know it your done.

Note: Be careful with the T-Nuts as they have sharp claw edges. I sliced my finger on one when drilling the bolt into it using my hand as a guide to keep it secure it warped on me, spun and flew off while cutting my finger, ensure you hammer each T-Nut in the hole before applying the bolt with the impact wrench or drill, at times you may want to hammer the T-Nut further into the wood than just flushed, this will help it remain secure when torquing the bolt down. If the T-Nut does catch correctly it will spin against the wood and the T-Nut is warped.

Use a ladder when you start the crows nest area, it's much safer and you'll have more room to work.
