David and his team built my family a passive home, which was completed in 2021. We had an incredibly positive experience from start to finish and would highly recommend Kala. David and his team were meticulous, from planning to execution, and it shows in the quality of our home. Our home is energy-efficient, and also really comfortable (quiet, similar temperatures in each floor) due to being a passive build. And most importantly, the people at Kala are wonderful to work with - thoughtful, honest and truly passionate about what they do. We ended the building process with strong, positive relationships with David and his team, which unfortunately can be a rarity in this industry. Even years after we moved in, Kala still responds promptly to help us with questions.

We completed a new home build in 2023 and are extremely pleased with the result. The communication and transparency throughout the planning, build, and since our move-in has been excellent. The efficiency of the house compared to typical construction is remarkable. Ending up on schedule, on budget, and with the home we wanted was quite a feat from David and his team.
