Okay everyone I am writing this to update my review on freedom meats. As of today I got my deer back at a discounted price. The owner was very curtious and pleasant to deal with in person. We will just mark yesterday as both of us having off days. So thank you freedom meats for doing right by us.

I had 2 cows done over a year ago. The meat was very nicely packaged, and is still as tasty as the day I put it in the freezer. Josh and his crew do tremendous work at a great price. Best processor in the area!! I highly recommend!

SUPERIOR QUALITY MEAT! If you want quality meat and an awesome selection Freedom Meats is the place to go. The owner and employees are all friendly and knowledgeable. We will not buy meat from anywhere else give them a try I promise they will exceed your expectations!

Amazing customer service and true to their word. Tried the pork tonight we got that they processed and it was amazing and full of flavor.
They did the cuts of meat just like I asked for as well. We will definately continue doing business with them.

Make sure to get a detailed cost before having your deer processed. I paid several dollars more than what I was told, but was my bad because I didn’t have it in writing. I also got what I believe was about a quarter less meat processed then should have received. Never again.

Not a five star review, originally 1 star…11 months ago!!! But puts it front of your customer again. Look, just like the time it took to process the deer, the time it took to reply to a review. You did not call me multiple times and how could you recall, it was 11 months ago and you just replied 4 hours ago. Those several dollars were not tax, the tax rate in Caney is lower than surrounding areas. I brought you a 10 point buck that field dresses at 167 without the head. I got less than the 2/3 average yield of in the bone meat. I did take other deer to another processor and not only left Google review but word of mouth which is quicker than Google review and your customer service. One star again!

Great folks at freedom meats, picked up my deer yesterday. Tried the jalapeño cheddar summer sausage today, absolutely out of this world good. These ladies and gentlemen scraped every inch of that buck to get a good yield for me in meat. Thank you for all that you do and taking time away from normal business for all of us hunters that don't have time or means to process our own.
