I've been using my bread machine a bunch lately and I'm so happy because this loaf is twice as tall as the other loaves I made. I didn't even know it could reach the top of the bread pan. I've heard the flour you use makes all the difference and that's the truth. Stafford County Flour Mills is a 1904 mill in Hudson, KS, my home state. That's wheat grown in Kansas, for you. From now on, it's the only flour I'll buy, plus I got it at Dollar Tree, so it was for an amazing price. I can't wait to make cinnamon rolls. I'm one happy baking girl!

Received a Bag of this Flour.Feel in love. From California. Useful Gold Medal for 40 years. Not any more. This flour is not only excellent and makes your Kitchen smell the Best on the Block. Going to order on line to our Home in California. Walmart.com wants 17.00 for 5 pound bag. No Thanks going on line to order 6 Bags for my Pantry. Yes just threw Gold Medal under the Bus. Pick up dry van load. Loaded in 30 minutes. No appointment as long as I understand first come first serve. Friendly people. SCALE on the property ( you can do axle by axle).there is no gate, so I stayed OVERNIGHT, no problem. Amazing Pick up experience.

Purchased my first 25Lb bag of your self rising flour from a local Wal-Mart store in Dec of 2013 and have been having problems with making gravy with it. It seems to make small balls of dough in the gravy when it cooks on the stove. I'm very good at making gravy so don't even go there! I even found a piece of paper bag in the flour and that's not good. How did it make it through the sifters? Yea I use to work around a flour mill and I know everything of what goes on in them. I can't say that I would purchase your product again. Sorry. Just telling the truth. Oh and it does make good bread if you like paper in it. No rating! The other flour mill was a ConAgra mill and I hate them! No I never worked for them! Now you know that what I put on here was honest!

We use Hudson Cream Flour for all our baking, except bread, as I grind our own four for bread. My girls always get blues on their baked goods at the fair.
