Kingman Historic Theater. Kingman, Kansas. I believe it was built in 1922. It was like walking back into my childhood. Neon lights throughout. Wood floor underneath the seats. Film and sound quality is very good. We watched "The Wild Robot". (By the way, it was very good). Admission is only $3 and the concessions are very family friendly. The theater is a nonprofit llc. What a great asset for the community.

The Kingman Theater is a nice small town theater with friendly volunteer staffing. I've been to two shows in the past month or so. I've enjoyed the experience both times. My wife and I (along with my sister and brother-in-law) especially like the adults-only balcony. The films are easily seen from there. The concessions are good. They were running a BOGO special when we were there. I think the same deal is going on all summer. I'm not sure about how wheelchair accessible the place is. I just wasn't paying attention to that.

Was hoping to see Guardian's of the galaxy on Mother's Day. When we got there the theater was closed with no sign anywhere saying they were closed. When I called the line stays busy. My son's and I waited for 20 minutes before we left. Just wish there was a notice on line or a sign on the front door stating they were closed. If they want business the least they can do is keep customers informed.

Love this place! It is a historic theater so there is lots of ambience and fine details. They don't accept credit or debit cards, so make sure you bring cash. Wonderful volunteers! Concessions reasonably priced! Definitely an experience to watch a movie in this beautiful historic building. Relax, let yourself slip back in time, and enjoy the show!
