Love this place to death. The community of people is so amazing and everyone is supportive and kind. Iโ€™ve been on worship team for the past four years and it has been an amazing experience. If iโ€™m not busy hopefully this year I can do it again! Definitely give the camp a try and you wonโ€™t regret it. The amount of encounters with Jesus iโ€™ve had here is insane. Itโ€™s something about this camp that has changed my life. For instance one time i was worshiping for what felt like a few minutes. Turns out i had been there for 2 and a half hours without even realizing and everyone but the people around me, praying for me, were gone. My eyes were dark red from crying lol. Another time some other workers and I were up pretty late after everyone else, outside at the Gaga ball pit, and we all started praying for each other and it started raining and we were all worshiping and crying and this was just on our own. It was such a moving experience but I wonโ€™t get into all the details. My point is that Jesus moves at this camp so if you want to meet Jesus, Wheat state is one of the best places to meet new people, grow with them, and grow in your relationship with God. Hope to see you there! -Vinny | Worship Leader

Was there for kids camp this last week. It was great! The services were good, the salad bar was amazing. The grounds have a lot of fun things to do. Glow in the dark dodgeball, rock climbing wall, 9 square in the air, Gaga ball, some carpet ball tables that could use a little bit of updating.

The pond has the blob which is great, a makeshift water slide that isn't amazing, but works for kids. The swimming area works well and they have kayaks and paddle boats as well.

Some of the cabins could use some updating, but there are just so many that it makes it hard to do them all. All of the cabins have air conditioning and lots of bunk room. I believe the camp can hold a little over 500. It's not the newest, most up to date retreat center around, but it's a good affordable option for most people looking for a place in the area.

The tour process was very thorough, the boss was very kind and knowledgeable. She provided ample direction and expressed a willingness to be flexible. If our event goes that well there will be a lot of happy people.

Awesome camp or retreat getaway! Lots of outdoor activities to keep everyone interested and busy. Nice indoor areas too if it gets too hot to be outside

Went to camp for Kid's Camp for all the years I could except my last year and had my first year of Middle School Camp, and every year I wanted to go back.

I had lots of encounters with Christ including the pushing to pray over another camper

My second year of middle school camp was a Youth Camp instead. I had a great time on the Orange Team. I had amazing encounters with God, I felt called to ministry and began speaking in toungs. Thank you, Wheatstate, KYM and pastors Josh and Hannah Peoples for making camp AMAZING!

I went to this camp in high school (about 4 years ago). The camp activities and worship are all what's to be expected from a church camp. However, during one of the activites I had injured my knee, and I was so sure that it was broken. All that was done for me was being given some crutches. Since we had our devices taken away, I was not allowed to call home. I was only given a chance to call the next day, which was a day before the last day of camp. The group leaders had downplayed the injury to my parents, and my parents assumed all was well. I'm not saying the camp is bad, but there really needs to be better protocol for injuries.

Spend three days here at camp for an encounter. The camp has been around, but even though it shows its age a bit the whole campus is clean and kept up very well. The staff at our function was really top notch. The air was cold outside and I was concerned the dorms might be cold, but we didn't need to worry, it was as comfortable as you can get when you are trying to sleep in a room with a bunch of guys - thanks to the ear plugs we did sleep ok. Keep it up!

How nice it is to see that the Wheat State Campus has continued to be improved! However, I loved it when I was a young person and the cabins were roughly finished and there was little landscaping. The friendships, the counselors, the services, crafts, food, the all-
important snack bar, and much more left me with warm lasting memories and continued walk with God. I sent my children there and they have many great memories, too.
