This place really deserves 0 stars. I'm already a over month out waiting for my license, I got MO in < 3 weeks. There application was easier and cheaper as well. Instructions were clearer to where there were no more required materials. 3 weeks Seems like a reasonable turn around time. Now unfortunately the job i have waiting is in KS. Since I'm already a month out, ive had 3 conversations with the licensing specialist about 1 issue and to CLARIFY correct things on the application. Then it gets sent for a legal review with a paralegal - who is on vacation for another week 😃. No idea what's wrong with it, can't get information from the specialist, and no other contact to use. So just sitting here loosing income. Thanks Kansas.

Despite COVID and despite difficulties in everyday tasks this team has been patient with me and my questions. I am so grateful for all you and your team do. I do not envy your position but thank you. I mailed a letter of complaint against two wichita doctors. I suffered serious heart problems after a routine colonoscopy where i ended up in emergency room.
I mailed the letter with all supporting documentation on about august, 2017. I received a reply on september, 2017 saying only that the doctors had done nothing wrong. The letter was sent to the wrong address and was stamped by someone named Joshana Offenbach.
The doctors said i had always had heart problems. I had never had any health problems! I sent the board the necessary documentation they could research to prove my health, but they refused to research my case.
I will now publish all of my information on all social media sites along with the stamped reply from the board mailed only a short time after they had received my complaint. The board did not research anthing.
I have nothing to hide and nothing to lose. I think the world should see how the ks board of healing arts handles complaints.
The board hides and is not on any social media sites. I feel they believe they can do anything they want including doing nothing. That was true before the internet.
I have even had to go to several different cardiologists because the original offending doctor followed my activity and took appropriate steps.

They are behind almost a month on my license verification which is affecting my start date for my new job. They say it is because they are short staffed but guess what? They have been since 2015 when I got my Kansas license! It is very frustrating.

I feel the board of heeling arts needs to get way more involved with the physicians in Kansas cause if u call and talk to them then they have so many complaints they are way behind that should be the first clue it’s time to step in I just left the Topeka er and hospital the doctor was from Wichita and also a partner of the business he was very rude and did nothing for my issue other then took some blood and said go home even when I said I feel like my body is shutting down and slowly dieing he just walks out and has my paperwork ready to walk me out this is a real issue all over Kansas so please and I ask you please help the little people and make these doctors earn the right to keep their licensing in the medical field cause letting them do what they want when they want is really taking it’s toll on us and we won’t stand for it much longer
