Dr. Hagan and his superb team are absolute professionals. Top notch service at a fair price. I had an implant done by Dr. Hagan and I could not be happier with the manner in which it was performed and the impeccable results. Dr. Hagan is a perfectionist and an excellent communicator who clearly informs you about every step he makes within your oral confines. So glad that I was referred to this place by my dentist.

Another important point: Wichita Family Dental quoted me a price for the implant work that was almost double what it cost to got it done at Kansas Perio; on top of that, Wichita Family Dental was just going to out source the work to a periodontist that was not even on staff!

From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in the right place. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The ambiance of the office is very calming which was good for me being nervous about needing a dental procedure. Dr. Hagan and all of his support staff were very helpful. He was very good about educating me in simple terms about what was going on in my mouth. When the time came from my procedure I knew what to expect. I became a difficult patient and they were always kind and understanding of the difficulties I was experiencing. 10/10 will go back when I need grafted again.

Dr. Hagen and his team are rockstars! I went in needing an implant, and they did a fabulous job. Dr. Hagen has this chill, neighborly vibe that instantly put me at ease—important when you’re like me and your body likes to play “fainting goat” during stressful procedures (thanks, Vasovagal syncope).

What really sets them apart? Their innovative process avoids the dreaded temporary “flipper” tooth. Trust me, you don’t want to be fishing that out at work lunches for months on end. The whole staff is friendly, engaging, and willing to go the extra mile to make you comfortable.

After interviewing several docs, I’m so glad I landed on Dr. Hagen. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hagan and his team are amazing! I had this procedure done many years ago in Salina and it didn’t go well, so I was nervous to attempt dental grafting again. They made me feel relaxed and explained everything to minimize my anxiety. From the time I walked in the front door everyone was friendly and genuinely welcoming. I highly recommend them!

First off, Dr. Wagle is the kindest, most gentle doctor I've ever dealt with.

The reason for the poor rating is how they handle payments and such. When I first went in for a implant/crown/bone graft, everything was fine. When it was scheduled, I was told I needed to provide 25% up front. That was about $450. I was thinking another $1400ish would cover the rest. When I showed up for the procedure, I was in the chair for around three hours before I ever saw Dr. Wagle. Apparently they had a difficult morning, and I needed to be numbed twice because it had worn off by the time the doctor showed up. Procedure went fine after that. On the way out I was told I owed somewhere around $4,000. I was surprised to say the least! I told them I didn't have anywhere near that much on me, and they were "gracious" enough to waive the $35 payment fee. Wow, thanks.

I told my normal dentist after that experience that I wasn't at all interested in going back. I needed to have Dr. Wagle check on things, though, so I did go back for that alone. Eventually my dentist suggested that I needed more work done, so I made an appointment for a consultation and intended to speak about my previous experience at that time. The day before my appointment, they called and said they needed X-rays and pictures first, okay whatever. Then, again, on the way out, and not at all before, they told me I now owe them a couple hundred dollars. I was furious! I left, told them I'll be back for the consult that was originally scheduled for that day, and have never gone back.

I have no idea why they handle their billing the way they do, but for that alone I can not recommend Kansas Perio to anyone. Great doctor, terrible everything else!

The entire staff couldn't have been more friendly and professional. Dr. Hagan is a perfectionist and I'm so glad I was sent in his direction! He is caring and kept me informed of every move he was making during the procedure. I was totally at ease. Thank you Dr. Hagan and your awesome staff as well! I couldn't be happier with my dental implant!
