I'm writing this review from the upstairs room of my new home...roughly one year out from having it completed by Jeff, Jon, Carey and the rest of the excellent crew at NMC. I'm looking out the window, at a gorgeous spring view of Platte Valley, a clean and verdant canopy over my neighbors' rooftops, fading off into the horizon. I feel safe here, secure, content; everything one could want in a home. This is my sanctuary, and I love it. I am incredibly grateful to NMC for building it.

Having a home built is a highly stressful endeavor. Everyone knows this. But to experience it is another thing. I can say with certainty that I stretched everyone's patience with my worries, doubts, fears and...mania, frankly. Going through this process does not bring out the best in a buyer's psyche, but through all my craziness and occasional unreasonableness, Jeff and Jon remained faithful to the build, to their word, and to the outstanding quality of this home. I thank them for that. They have deep integrity, and I cannot overstate how much relief that brought me throughout the build; in the middle of a pandemic, with material prices soaring and home prices jumping for the stratosphere, J&J never once reneged on our contract. They didn't even mention it. I know for a fact that many other builders were amending contracts to ameliorate the chaotic costs of homebuilding. Jeff and Jon just kept building our house and building it well. Any snag, they made it right. All of my wild questions, they answered. I truly admire them for weathering such a turbulent market situation. Contractors were unavailable, prices exploding, customers (me) melting down. And yet, they got it done beautifully.

And here I am, in this gorgeous house, and I have never lived in a better one. My family and I love, love, love our new home, and I would, without a doubt, recommend NMC to anyone, unreservedly.

Our church had a major remodel project ahead of us before we could move into our new space. Jeff and Jon went above and beyond to get us into our space on time and on budget. They have a great network of contractors who helped with each step of the project and stepped in personally when needed to help keep everything on track.

Builders are inevitably not easy to work with, but here are just a couple pictures of issues that are STILL NOT FIXED, and we closed on the house October 31, 2018.

We have contacted the builder, Jeff Johnson & the project manager, Jon Blythe at least 15x to correct these issues, as I really didn’t want to have to resort to social media reviews to get action. Our house supposedly came with a one year warranty, but I guess that only applies if the builder actually responds to you.

We were promised the sliding glass door that they damaged during construction, would be cleaned and repaired prior to move in, then after move in and at least 5x since then. We were also promised that the holes around vents and outlets would be repaired. We were promised many things that are still not done. Don’t use this builder. They just want to close on the house, and walk away. Worst customer service in the world. I am a real estate broker and I flip houses, and I would never in a million years leave the house looking so terrible and then not respond to my buyers.
