We stopped to get provisions for our stay. Beautiful ribeyes and an awesome selection of local smoked sausage and jerky for charcuterie boards. A great selection of local bacon.

Must try the sandwiches. Generous portions and very tasty. The club toasted was out of this world - excellent bacon, grilled onions and all the meats?

Today I visited the sandwich shop and it’s absolutely amazing. You get huge sandwiches with awesome quality ingredients for a reasonable price. I highly recommend the Kinikin Club and the Kinikin Italian. I looking forward to trying out the food truck next.

I brought a mature bull elk to Kinikin this year. Additionally, I ordered and paid for 20 lbs of sausage. What I received was 120lbs of meat with 7 lbs of sausage. I called and questioned the staff and was informed that a bull elk will yield 90-125 lbs of meat. This is absolutely unacceptable. Be prepared to be ripped off. Almost $600 for 120lbs of meat is ridiculous.

Will update my review if this is handled accordingly.

Update: they denied shorting me meat and even accused me of losing an entire bag. They refused to credit me for my missing specialty meats. If you’re a hunter, and especially an out-of-state hunter, avoid this processor like the plague.

Do yourself a favor and don't take your wild game here.

Took my wife's cow elk in last year. Got 90lbs of meat back. Seemed pretty light. I shot a cow the next week, took it elsewhere and got 170lbs of meat back. Conveniently, they sell "their own" elk meat in store. Draw your own conclusions. Read the reviews.

We stopped in for lunch on our way to Grand Junction and YUM! We were able to call in our order and it was ready for pick up when we arrived. The sandwiches were delicious! This location also offers an area to walk your dogs - win win for us!

Had my elk taken there during the later part of the archery season. They had it done in 2 days, frozen, cut and wrapped. They tenderized my round steaks and deserve 6 stars for the quality of packaging and presentation of my trophy! Thank you!!!

One of my favorite meat shops ever! Exceptional quality, great service, and (usually) a great selection. I do suggest specially ordering certain cuts, and they sell tallow as well (just ask!)
