We went to see Agatha Christie's 'Murder on the Orient Express'. The staff was fun. The play was extraordinary. We enjoyed ourselves and the production.

One of the staff members told us that the building was a movie house built in 1937. During the recent renovations, they moved the original (castiron) projection to the front of the lobby for display. The art nouveau decor is mostly original. It is a beautiful building.

This playhouse sits on one of our favorite streets in downtown Leavenworth. It gives actors in our community a wonderful stage to perform and the marquee out front adds to our city’s charm. ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! It's older than the hills, but the aura is just phenomenal! My wife and I saw the Nutcracker last December here as well as the most recent Annie, Jr. performance. It's so nice to see a community group be able to survive and perform for, well, their community in such a wonderful theatre!

Went on 12/16 to watch our granddaughter perform in The Nutcracker. She loves performing. The theater is not too big or too small.

I was charged twice for one visit to a show. I reached out but never recieved a response. I guess they can keep the $30. I have no problem if donate but I do have a problem if you take. I will not support this organization again.

Our first visit was to attend "It Shoulda Been You". We have been season ticket holders for the New Theater in Overland Park for years so are not new to theater. This was a very enjoyable afternoon for us. The play was well done & cast was great & a live orchestra that we didn't expect. There seemed to be a problem with heat but we were told the city is having the system replaced (can't be too soon). We will definitely come back!
