After vetting four kitchen contractors I selected Southstar. My goal is to always source local vendors when possible, so I was pleased to find Southstar here in Corona.
John and his crew took my kitchen from “Nineties to Nifty in about 3 weeks.
With 15 years in the construction/purchasing field, I have become finicky regarding customer service. John’s responsiveness and communication skills put me at ease and made me feel this was a collaborative effort.
Some of the notable challenges in remodeling my kitchen was my 28-year tile. They took such care that no tiles were broken during installation. Drywall repair and paint were minimal. I never sensed they were rushed and attention to detail (trim, outlet placement etc) is equally important to Southstar.
My overall experience with Southstar was so outstanding that when I needed additional electrical work on my home, I didn’t hesitate to call John.
I do not give 5 star reviews lightly, but felt my kitchen remodel experience warranted one.

Best ADU ever!
Southstar Construction did a wonderful job in building my ADU in Fontana. John the Project Manager was proactive during the whole process; from the plans, design, permits, to construction, and through the final city approvals. His crew were very talented and professional; knew exactly what they were doing. The team gave me feedback when I was unsure. They were very good communicators and were available to answer any questions that I had. It has just the right amount of space for me. Construction was completed timely and the pricing was reasonable for what I wanted. I truly recommend Southstar Construction. I really love love love my new ADU!!!

Just had two bathrooms remodeling projects completed by Rizk Construction, a master bathroom and a full bathroom. Rizk Construction is the real deal, John and his crew are the A-Team! Their work was excellent. The quote was competitive, the team showed up on time everyday, were highly professional and pleasant to deal with and were very attentive to detail. Not one minor detail was skipped over, everything was discussed with us during the project to ensure the final product was to our satisfaction. The pictures speak for themselves. John Rizk’s construction company remodeled our kitchen and did an excellent job. They demolished the old cabinets and countertops, hauled the old stuff away, and installed new cabinets and quartz countertops. The new cabinets are in perfect condition and have soft closing drawers and cabinet doors.

The electrical work was top notch and a lot of old issues were fixed including lining up all the outlets and light fixtures, which were previously uneven.

The employees arrived on time each day, were clean, friendly, and respectful and they cleaned up at the end of each day. They were a pleasure to have over each day and trustworthy. John the owner is very knowledgeable and affordable. Each day I am shocked at how great everything turned out. They made my house feel like a model home. I highly recommend Rizk Construction to my family, friends, and everyone looking for great quality at a great price! Very honest and reliable.
