The Slab is an outstanding butcher shop offering a diverse selection of high-quality meats. They have everything from pork, chicken, and steak to seafood and specialty meats. One of their highlights is the dry-aged steaks, which are exceptional in flavor and tenderness. The service at The Slab is excellent; the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what they do. They cut and package the meat themselves, ensuring a real butcher experience. The shop is clean, well-organized, and inviting. We will definitely be returning for more of their fantastic meats and top-notch service. We picked up ribeye, sirloin, and Wagyu beef cheeks. The quality was apparent in the look, feel, and taste. We had a great meal with the quality meat we got at The Slab.

Edit: After speaking with Sam I do feel the business is trying to make sure they have a quality product. He is refunding my entire purchase and I will go back. The chicken I had was excellent.
I also asked the Packed on Date be made larger. Normally I look at those dates but overlooked these. It's nice to have great customer service, Thank You Sam.

I hope I'm an anomaly. I bought quite a bit because I live in Casa Grande and it's a 30 min drive. Some of what I purchase is spoiled right out of the package. I take responsibility for not looking at the very small print showing the packing date and could maybe over look 1 thing but 3 - 2 beef and 1 pork have been bad on opening the package. Trust me the smell left no doubt. I am throwing away everything I froze on coming home, not worth the $$$ to get sick

Wow! Awesome place! We were greeted by a super sweet lady who made us feel very welcomed. Great selection of meats. Can't wait to fire up the grill, crack open a beer and cook these!

I cannot rave about this shop enough to fully do it justice. I tried some cedar river fillets from here about 2 months ago, and have been hooked since. The quality and flavor of the beef is better than anything I've ever had, even from high-end steak houses.

I was instantly hooked upon first bite, and went back the next day to purchase more items to try myself, with recommendations from the owner, and purchased more fillets for my best friends to try.

The quality and flavor of everything I've tried has been life-changing (and the low prices will blow your mind!!) I truly look forward to cooking dinner every day now, whereas before I was in a fast food rut with zero interest in cooking, ever.

I highly recommend trying items on special to see what you like best, or ask the employees or owner for recommendations. I promise, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

After trying steak from every other store in maricopa, my family and I decided to try some steaks from the slab shop. I have to say it is the best steak ive ever had and we have been coming back ever since. The store owner gave me some amazing reccomendations as well (wagyu hanger steak) and it turned out so well. Please keep up the exeptional work!

Made burgers with their Cedar River Grass-fed Angus blend & the flavor was excellent! Perfect blend of meat & fat for a juicy delicious burger patty. Will definitely be buying my beef from here going forward. Staff is very helpful too!
