I am an architect and recently had the pleasure of working with Lakshmi and Kristin on a home that I designed.

So much of the general contractor’s job is about clean, clear communication and doing what they say they will do… and hinges on other people- namely, their subs. I was impressed with all.

It is delightful when the integrity of the builder matches their commitment to building a beautiful project. I have no hesitation recommending this builder.

Working with Transformations Custom Build is like a dream come true! I have had a lot of experience with construction projects, and many were less than desirable. However, working with Transformations Custom Build is like a breath of fresh air when you get to the top of the mountain!

From the first meeting, the conversation is relaxed, but informative, serious but fun, and always considerate of your time. Careful consideration is given to your wants and needs, and Lakshmi brings her decades of experience to the table, giving guidance that only a professional who loves what they do can contribute. Even the vendors and other professionals Lakshmi brings to the table to assist in the process are a pleasure to work with.

Communication is clear and always given to you on the level you are at, so you feel you are understanding the process, and are understood throughout, a Priceless piece of the process that many miss or perform poorly.

Their reputation and communication may bring you to the table, but the quality of craftsmanship is what keeps me coming back. I have worked with a lot of GCs and builders in Central Texas and I am hard pressed to come up with anyone that provides the quality of work, especially finish work, that Lakshmi and her team deliver on each and every project.

If I want the best quality build at the fairest price around I only make one call, toTransformations Custom Build. Fingers crossed, they have time in their schedule for me, but if they don't, I will wait. They are That Good!

We truly enjoyed working with Lakshmi Jackman at Transformations Custom Build. As real estate investors we have basic DIY skills, but building guest suites out of shipping containers in Fredericksburg, TX is not a DIY project. This was our first time working with a general contractor, and we were pleasantly surprised. We were kept updated on the subcontractor schedules, the budget, deliveries, etc. Speaking of subcontractors, we met most of them and could tell they enjoyed working with Lakshmi, which says a lot about her character. The end result was a beautiful, well built vacation rental site where we get lots of compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Lakshmi Jackman and Transformations Custom Build.

We did a tear down and Lakshmi custom built our new house for us. My wife was in Austin for most of the build, but I was overseas. It was a whole year ago that I last saw the progress so when I came back into town a couple weeks ago, I got to see the completed project. When I walked into the foyer and living room, it literally took my breath away. The house is more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Following the progress through blueprints and pictures did not prepare me for the delightful end result. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail in every corner. She dealt with/coordinated some uncommon factors such as European windows and Geothermal. We are so thrilled with our new forever home!

We have been extremely happy with the work that Lakshmi, Larry and the whole Transformations crew have put into our project. People thought we were crazy to undertake a 6-month remodel that tripled the size of our house, but it has been one of the most enjoyable remodel experiences we could have imagined. Her crew came in each morning and cleaned up each day, so I could live in my home while the work was done.”
