I've been a regular customer and I like that small local stores still exist in some neighborhoods. I want to support your store. However, I'm deeply concerned about the recent addition of selling glue traps and snap traps for mice. These traps cause animals to suffer slowly from starvation, dehydration, and panic - often for days. They're also indiscriminate, catching birds, pets, and other unintended wildlife. There are many alternatives available today that are more effective. As a small community store, your product choices matter to your neighbors. I know not everyone will agree with me but I'm guessing some will. I respectfully ask you to reconsider selling these traps, as many customers like myself are increasingly conscious about making more humane choices . I hope you'll remove them from your inventory and stick to more ethical options.

Neighborhood markets like this one are a gem. Nothing fancy but it has what you need. And since the new management took over, it feels brighter and better organized.

Would you rather walk a block or two and see your neighbors or have to get your car and drive 10 minutes to Solano Ave?

Great local market, tailored to the taste of locals, with a complete complement of meat from a butcher, great selection of dairy, a respectable vegetable isle, and helpful staff. Recommended if you want high quality food, but don't like crowded superstores.

This market has the best produce, and the best meat department in the whole Bay Area. The service is excellent and the product selection is great! I especially now because they carry liquor! And they have a very good selection of medicine!
