Outstanding service at every step. I could not be happier. My kitchen remodel in Rossmoor kept the old cabinets but repainted them inside and out and installed all new drawers, new doors, three new pullouts, new handles, and a new cabinet on an empty wall space. They did not alter the counters, flooring, or lighting.

Making the drawers and doors in their shop took several months but the actual installation and painting was completed in just 6 days. Everyone was very friendly and considerate. Dust was minimized by plastic sheets and debris haul away and final cleanup was complete. The total price was very fair.

To Replace or ReFace Kitchen Cabinets…the Choice was Daunting!

After conferring with professionals we know and trust, David Fontan of Oak Mountain Cabinets in Pacheco was recommended to us as an option We toyed with the idea of just painting our 1997 cabinets and received reasonable quotes from Kent Painting and Level Seven Painting, but after meeting and talking with David, we knew refacing was the way to go. So good-bye to our dated Nutmeg Maple to updated, painted, and refreshed cabinets of 2025!

Not all cabinet refacers are created equal!

There were several reasons why we went with Oak Mountain Cabinets. David Fontan is a hands-on owner. He has decades of experience in this field and inspired us with the confidence to tackle the task of refacing. Through our discussions we learned we could essentially reconfigure and upgrade the quality of the cabinetry and hardware. They rebuilt the drawers, changed the internal slides, converted some cabinets to drawers, added pull-outs where needed, and repaired flawed work done by the builder. All of this while upgrading the look of the cabinetry at half the cost of replacing all the cabinets. Most importantly my spouse concluded that she and David “clicked.” That synergy really showed in the people that were assigned to the critical aspects of our project and thie on-going working relationship.

Johnathan, who is responsible for the detailed drawings of the project, was attentive and responsive. Together we worked through the details required to get this project right. He has been a joy to work with.

Joshua has been assigned the task of doing the demo, the repairs, the prep, and the painting. Joshua was the perfect match for my spouse. He’s diligent, precise, conscientious, focused, and thorough. He went above and beyond the call of duty to tape off the kitchen to minimize the debris flow from the kitchen to the rest of the house. So far his work has been flawless. And he faithfully cleans up at the end of each day!

My spouse is very very particular about what is done to our house, how it is done, and who does the work. She is hands on as well and closely monitors the progress and has appreciated the willingness of David and Joshua to settle any concerns…a true collaboration. I can honestly say that she is totally chill about what is going on. We feel that this is the absolute right decision. For now, we have seen enough to encourage any reader to give this company a look. We’ll keep you posted on the outcome.

Dave's crew did an outstanding job on my master bathroom vanity. I had spent hours researching vanities with Wayfair, Bed&Bath, Home Depot and Lowes. I finally decided to have it custom made. I was fortunate to come across Oak Mountain Cabinets through Google.I designed it and knew the color stain I wanted. I understand Dave's crew spent hours getting the stain just right. I did not want a painted white or gray vanity that everyone is doing now. I wanted a dark bluish/gray stain so the wood grain would still show. When I saw the finished vanity I had tears in my eyes. It was better than I could imagined. I am able to store my tall hair spray cans in bottom drawer and can fit a small trash bin under sink. With the vanity came a baseboard and side trim. Dave's crew did an outstanding job. It was the best I could hope for. The price was fair and reasonable for a custom made vanity. I like and recommend supporting the small local businesses.

They were on time every day, cleaned up before leaving and helped me change the kitchen design without and additional changes. Dave picked up all my calls. His staff is amazing and I highly recommend them for any remodel or refaced project.

Oak Mountain Cabinets repainted our white kitchen cabinets and built a custom vanity, tub panel and water closet for our master bathroom. The team at Oak Mountain worked diligently with me to create a desired white oak finish for my vanity, they were also able to stain all pieces to coordinate including two new bathroom doors to match which all turned out beautiful! We truly appreciated their efforts to make sure that all our needs were met!

I should have written a review a year ago, but I guess this is even a better review seeing as it's been a year and we still LOVE our bathroom. Dave and his crew, shout out to Angel, remodeled our 1966 bathroom with custom made cabinets, new wall texture, new paint and new tub/shower tile surround, sinks, fixtures... everything! It looks beautiful.
We, believe it or not, enjoyed having the guys here working for a few months. Angel was our main worker and what a professional! He truly knows how to do everything and does it well!
After the bathroom was finished, they tore out the tile in our entry way and replaced it with hardwood floors. Then they took out ( ripped out/demolished) our flagstone fireplace surround and replaced that with a marble surround. They did a great job on everything and brought us into the 21st century!
I am thinking of another project so I can have them back!
I highly recommend Dave Fontan and his crew.
