Informative place! Lots of decorations, lots of history, all very interesting. Started off with a video that is very dated but interesting. We then started off with a tour guide but he was a little too long-winded for the kids so we headed off to explore on our own. Still learned tons! Never know that Madi gras stared in Mobile in the US and they have “royalty” still to this day! Loved all the costumes they had to display. Overall, the price wasn’t too bad for what you got to see and learn. Not at all busy, likely due to the time of year.

This place was amazing. They have a must watch video that explains the beginning of Mardi Gras. The exhibits are just wow! There is one wall that gives the timeline of when things started, which is a must-read. The staff amazing and very knowledgeable.

This is a must visit in Mobile. The displays are beautiful, and the ability to phone in to learn more about each area was wonderful. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We spoke to a gentleman who had been participating in the festivities for 52 years. You can also take photos on an amazing float!

An interesting museum displaying the history of Carnival and Mardi Gras. Incredible costumes on display. It is a self guided tour thru an app on your phone accessible by wifi.

Really underrated. Fab showcases. Save $ with AAA card. Don't miss. Go for lunch at Blind Mule up the street and get red beans and rice

The museum is mid amusing, the pics I post are pretty much a summary of what you will see. The tour guide, however, is horrendously rude. He was extremely rude to tourist with limited time wanting the self guided tour. We won't be back or recommend. I give it 3 out of 10.

Very enjoyable. So many beautiful King and Queen gowns. The tour tells so many stories. Definitely worth the entry cost, very reasonable.

If you like Mardi Gras, this is a must see! Lots of history and GORGEOUS gowns, and other attire and different pieces from past parades .
