Incredible coffee and absolutely wonderful service. I've been twice and everyone who works has been super kind. Our first stop, we were offered sweets and the barista recommended drinks to my family. The first time, I got a brewed Costa Rican coffee and was offered to try the Nepali coffee. This time, I got the Nepali coffee and it is sooooo good! If you are looking for a shop with great coffee, a great atmosphere, and a great team, look no further.

What can I say about The Joyous Goat in Mobile Alabama? Be rest assured whatever it is, its not enough. I found The Joyous Goat as I was looking for coffee in my first ever visit to Mobile, Alabama. Coming back to Houston from Coral Gables, Florida I had decided to do a different thing – try coffee shops that I had never heard of. Mission accomplished. When I found The Joyous Goat I was welcomed by a local crochet group. I was also on the phone with my wife and she is an incredible crochet Artist herself. Then I sat down and met a local named Mr. Johnson and I met Amita, an incredible barista at the Joyous Goat. I ordered the cold brew and had a wonderful conversation with the Amita & Mr. Johnson, but before I left to check into my hotel. I noticed that there were some really awesome clothes and different gift items. Still shopping for my wife for Christmas, I took a look. Not only was I pleasantly surprised that all of their garments were sourced from Nepal, they were of superior quality, a great price and the designs were absolutely gorgeous. I bought my wife a jacket and guess what!? I had also stopped into a place in Florida and picked her up a bag. I didn’t understand it at the time, but the bag and the jacket went perfectly together. Needless to say I did pretty good this Christmas!

I cannot wait to go back to The Joyous Goat when I return to Mobile in a few months. The service is excellent. The coffee is wonderful. The gifts are incredible! TJG (aKA The Jumping Goat) adds a stitch to an already rich and storied tapestry of Mobile Alabama. Stop by! Grab a coffee or a tea and get ready to hang out and have some wonderful conversations! I know I will be! 😊

Great cafe to have affordable drinks, delicious sweets, and environment for working. My favorite is the chai tea. I keep coming back often. They also have a great selection of tea bags to buy and bring home in really nice packaging.

A great little coffee shop that would be a perfect start to your day, or as an afternoon pick-me-up! The mocha latte (hot & cold, we had both) was delicious, as well as the iced caramel latte. The barista was incredibly friendly and even treated us with a sample of their truffles (also delicious). Skip Starbucks and support a local business, you wont regret it!

This is a very differently made cortado than I'm used to.. initially tasted the coffee, but then just almond milk. Larger volume than others. The barista was nice. Nice surrounding neighborhood and view. Spacious interior with lots of seating.

Simple cafe with spacious seating and good service. The lady running the place is from Nepal, and is so sweet! Recommend it for studying/working. I went on a Sunday afternoon. I hope that they would consider adding some low-key background music. Having some more savory food/snack options would be nice too – samosas/puffs/sandwiches would be great with their chai!

The best cup of coffee I've had in a while! I like very strong coffee! This was strong while maintaining a smooth flavor! The lady who made it created me with a warming smile! The shop is adorned with trinkets of wonder and beauty! "Tibetan singing bowls, to carved wooden rings with elephants and turtles! I highly recommend!

All of their products seem to come from a small farmer association from Nepal.
