I don’t know about the office personnel that actually do the SS work, they seemed to have handled what my wife needed very efficiently. But someone needs to get a handle on the rent-a-cop security guard that was out of line and a complete jerk to my wife today when she walked into the office with a coffee and talking to me on her phone. Both of which are supposedly against the rules, which is fine, my issue isn’t that she was informed of her error, it’s the arrogant, disrespectful manner that he immediately took with her about it. You had better be glad that I wasn’t with her is all I can tell you. But I dare say that you wouldn’t have thought you were such a big “man” and been so aggressive when an actual man was with her. I heard you and your aggressive tone thru the phone. It was entirely uncalled for, and childish of you to provoke her after she hung the phone up, and was looking for a trash can. You just had to open your smart mouth and say “I see you’ve still got that coffee”. You don’t say, what did you want her to do, sit it on the floor? You’re a disgrace, to wear any sort of uniform and lead into an issue with someone, especially a lady, with such a provocative, aggressive attitude. If I can find out who actually employs you, they will be hearing from me as well, and I hope they at least reprimand you. I can’t not stand a bully and that’s all you are, a bully and a coward.

If I could give a zero star I would. My father passed back in March and my mother is still working out the finical issues ( Social secuity alowence) with this place. 6 months, no one has been calling back and following up. She has had to take off work multiple days to try and get some answers. We are fed up at this point. Good luck. FYI situation still isn't fixed.

I left my children’s father in 2013. He went to the SS office with my autistic son and had the check changed to come to him. My son was 19 and they changed it like presto. The father had lights and no water service at his house. Ms. Williams is the lady that DID NOT help me. She said that it was a civil matter between parents. I took a bus to get down there plus I showed her proof of DV accompanied with a judge (Naaman) approved restraining order. Had to take the bus because my sons’ father put something in the gas tank so that I wouldn’t be able to go to court. Out of all this struggle, I thought Ms. Williams would surely help me but NO! I’m the only parent listed on his birth certificate and they could’ve easily changed it back, as they did for him. Boy I hated that lady so bad. I wanted to know what car she drove so she could walk out to 4 flats, but they had cameras in the garage. I called her so many names because I couldn’t get to her but she had gotten to me. She could have fix my issue! I went to another window before I left and asked a question about what I came down there for. Ms. Williams lifted her window, saw me, and took a deep breath in disgust. The other lady was like sorry, she couldn’t help either. I was going to get back in line and wait for another SSI csr but I was emotionally exhausted, and I didn’t want get mad so I left. Try again another day. My son was on my lease, my job and his income was reported as something that comes to our new household for him to live. How was I supposed to pay rent and provide for everyone without his income? (he has 4 sisters, same dad and mom). Ms. Williams did not care! I went back down there and a white lady helped me and immediately the check was changed back to me as it had been for 19 years. This experience was so disappointing because I love everyone, idc if you’re the color purple, but that black beast, Ms. Williams, I despise. Allowed his father to steal for 2 months. His father gave him 60$ of the first month he got my son check, then $300 the 2nd month. His checks were $700+ at that time, for 2 months. I know Ms. Williams could’ve helped because the lady that ended up helping me had the same position as her. But I had to go through all of that for it to happen. I said all this to say, if one won’t do it, another will! Keep trying, pushing forward, and don’t let no one tell you no. Find someone that will. And for Ms. Williams she will see this sort of thing again, but it will be her that needs assistance and the same type of thing will happen to her. Some bs.

I had an appointment this morning that got disconnected. Called a number to get someone and after on less than 2 minutes was disconnected. Later about 2 hours after the initial call, the lady I had appointment with reached me back. Amy was her name ( hoped I spelled correctly)and she was WONDERFUL. She took care of everything as a gracious and kind person. I was so thankful to finally get my business with Social Security done. Thank you Amy so much. There is HOPE still in good hard working people as Amy. 5#stars

My mother had an 10am appointment we arrived at 9:40 am. People arriving after us kept getting waited on. After an hour (I know the security guard knew we have been there a good while) my mom asked the security guard if he could ask why we were not being waited on. Finally we got called to window 9
Ms. Williams she was so pleasant and patient with my mother. She was not the person we had an appointment with. I don’t understand why make an appointment if you get there and have to sit an hour after appointment to be waited on and they take 50 other people before you. And also this building and parking is not handicap friendly at all. Had to push a wheelchair up a sidewalk and around the building to get to the front of the building. The sidewalk is uneven so most of the time I was having to pull her backwards to get her over the humps in the sidewalk.

I just had a very good experience with this office! I called needing some important information concerning my Disability record that I was unable to retrieve from My SSA online account. I spoke with Kenneth. I just have to say that he was patient, polite, and professional with me. He was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of getting the information I need. And, all in 30 minutes before closing time on Friday afternoon. Kudos!
