All you can eat BBQ, sides & dessert!!! Yes, please!!! Enjoyed ribs (dry & sauced), fried chicken, greens, green beans, Mac-n-cheese and more. Yummmm!!!

Great food, very clean, courteous staff, and perfect sweet tea! I came in for the buffet, and I was not disappointed. Not too many people mention their bone-in fried chicken, so I will - very good and crunchy despite not being as hot as I would have liked since it had been sitting under the lamp for a bit. Sausage, ribs, macaroni and cheese, greens, yams, rice and stew (or maybe gumbo? it was next to the rice), banana pudding, peach cobbler, green beans, cornbread, baked beans - there wasn't anything I tried that I didn't like.

The hours are bit limited, but that shouldn't stop you from visiting if you're in the mood for good BBQ and fried chicken.

Awesome BBQ and Soul food. The sides here are as good as the BBQ. Staff are friendly and attentive. Love the food, the staff, and the atmosphere.

J Rodgers has by far the best ribs anywhere. Whether you like wet ribs or dry, they have both. They also have fried chicken wings, which are better than you can get at any wing joint. Their "fried ribs" are so good.

All of the sides are made from scratch and are delicious. Do you like gumbo? Well, if you do, you need to try J Rodgers' take on gumbo. It's called "Somebo". That's because it has some of this and some of that in it.

J Rodgers is a local gem. Ms. Rodgers and all her family and staff are awesome people, and they really cook with love and soul.

I ordered their rib lunch special , the young lady over the phone was real sweet and very informative. The ribs was really goooood and also the potato salad always come through🤤 The only thing got me down was the banana pudding it was not fresh it was already brown when I opened the cup . I will go back just for the ribs or their chicken but I’ll pass on the dessert.

I do a lot of eating out while I am on the road. I've been to this restaurant a handful of times and I have to say that it's fantastic from beginning to end! Staff is fantastic! Food is just as fantastic! And the atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. I'll always go back when I'm in the area. You guys should too...

The food was awesome. There was not a big selection, but what was there tasted great. The problem is the price. 15 bucks for the buffet that has a small selection. One can go to Golden Coral for less with a larger choice. Again great tasting food but the price does not match.
