Our family has been shopping here the past 65 years. Always helpful and friendly and good neighbors. The present owners have carried on that tradition as well. They have made nice improvements to better service the community and visitors. All of their staff goes the extra mile to help folks out.

We had a flat tire on our motor home on the way to Valdeze. We were able to get to the Salcha store where we were lucky enough to meet Tim. Although we had already called AAA, he volunteered to change our tire. When the tow truck arrived, the driver was unprepared to change an inside dual. He his jack was too small and he didn’t have an impact so Tim ended up changing the tire for him and would take no money for all his work. He then took off a tire from his personal RV to let us use for a spare till we got back. As our luck would have it, we had another blow-out on the way back and had to use Tim’s spare. He made our trip happen.

Always friendly staff, a good selection of items and the bathrooms are clean. A bit high priced on some things but for the location etc. That is to be expected.
